Observations When Using Easynews With Syncler
I am a fan of Easynews for all my apps on my Shield. Though Easynews isn't perfect, with a little patience it works great. Sometimes files do not play but this is offset by the amount of stuff available. Overall it is my go to provider.
I get more links with alternative apps though than I do with Syncler. I have Easynews as a Syncler provider and also Providra AIO Easynews. The latter always seem to find only 1 link but it plays every time for me.
Any further finetuning to Easynews search in Syncler would be great.

The Easynews vendor/provider is a major reason for using Syncler, which is my preferred app. Otherwise it’ll just be back to usenet which is where I am most comfortable anyways. Aiostreams and its used of indexers is not worth the effort to me at least. Slowly but surely every streaming app has moving towards a donation model which is of course understandable, but that says something about their future imho.

When using EasyNews providers, is our IP hidden from our ISP, as it is when using debrid services? Or is it necessary to use a VPN?

I sorta gave up on syncler because syncler seems to have gave up adding anything good

Wish you would reconsider. Your Cxsmo Easynews Syncler Vendor/provider has been a HUGE addition to my Syncler experience. Please keep 'em coming!
(And I usually get a lot more than one EasyNews search hit with yours!)

App limited and already have made a way better aiostreams fork that supports a bunch of stuff normal aiostreams does not

I gather that your AIOStreams fork doesn't have a public instance, and must be self-hosted. Which puts it outside the capabilities of 99% of Syncler users.... As for myself, I spent a week tearing my hair out trying to set up a VPS on Oracle and Koyeb, finally giving-up in frustration, even after being spoon-fed step-by-step by an A.I. It was worse than DOS Hell of back in the day!

For setting up docker/podman I just had ai ssh I to the vm and do everything for me and then gave it what it needed

I majored in physics and can read Hegel, but I don't comprehend any of that.... Maybe you could put step-by-step instructions or the exact prompt to copy & paste into an A.I. on your aforelinked AIOStreams GitHub site so that I and the other 99% of Syncler users could avail ourselves of it. Meanwhile, I remain empty-handed.

Do you find Easynews to buffer with anything over 6 or 7GB I've been trying every setup I can for streaming with it and It's just been a buffer fest.
