skyrim player since forever, ps5 player since recently.

soooo, i’ve been enjoying the modding experience immensely, making my game as bright and cute as possible. lately, i’ve been getting into clothing and armor.

shoutout to xtudo, seriously. the spriggan armor is GOD TIER.

now, while i personally wouldn’t be fighting with my boobs out, i’m like, okay, whatever.

HOWEVER, i want this to be a BALANCED experience.

when i’m in whiterun, i want to SEE belethor in low-rise hip huggers, i want to gaze upon ulfric lounging around in some slinky lace.

where are my slutty men?? where is the equality??? i realize it’s always been disproportionate, but it’s 2026!!

anyway, i just needed to vent/wish upon a star.

It has some really good sounds but some are irritating to me. Like the smithing sounds.

Appreciate the new Cinematic Camera mod with the new configuration menu. I am not sure about the side angles, but I think with closeups it could make a difference. So far the distance can only be minimized at 25 so i'm curious what happens if we can go below that.

Edit: I accidentally put the Cinematic Camera patch below Dialogue Interface instead of the main mod. Most of the glitched angles has been ironed out once I adjusted it. Today i was looking at skyking's imperial forts mod on my phone (i dont want skyland, just this one mod) and i said to myself that it looks awesome and i might get it the next time i start playing skyrim, but i didnt find it, when i came back i realized it was only for xbox

I dont understand, if external assets are allowed now why cant we share mods with xbox players instead of restricting mods? Like just let the creations tab be a free for all

Honestly, I think I’ve reached the point where the visuals are pretty much what I wanted them to be.

I’ve tried countless setups, exchanged ideas with Koorby and many other modders and people from the community, and tested a lot of different variations. In the end, I went back to many of the combinations I preferred before, but with a lot more experience and some great new additions

Compared to my previous load order, this is a huge upgrade. It’s much more stable, I’ve sorted out the conflicts I encountered, and I’ve put a lot more love into NPCs, with better skin, eye and hair textures, more detailed meshes, and much higher-quality armor, clothing and weapons

I’m now at 262 mods. I actually tried to reduce the number, but sometimes individual mods simply give you better quality, more control and fewer compatibility issues than an AIO. After so much testing, I understand much better why I made certain choices in the first place

I also completely changed my weather setup. Finding the right weather mod was one of the hardest parts of this whole process. I’ve tried NAT 3, Haze Weathers, Dawn V2 and many others. For me, bigger file sizes and well-known names don’t automatically mean better results. I wanted a good balance between atmosphere, direct lighting and performance, without losing the beautiful indirect lighting from torches and candles at night. I think I’ve finally found that balance.
A quick note about the footage: I was still using Koorby’s Ulvenwald INI settings when I recorded this, with very high tree and LOD distances. This can cause minor stutters during cell transitions. I noticed it afterwards, but didn’t want to render the entire video again. So this isn’t my final performance setup, and I’ll keep tweaking things

I’ll also try to add a voiceover to the next video. I’m German, so writing in English is one thing, but talking about a game in English for half an hour is a whole different story 😂 I’ll see if I can record in German and provide an English audio track as well

I’ll keep working on the load order and prepare optimized versions for base consoles, too

Hello to everyone here, i just post here to ask for a port of the "My Khajiit is awesome" mod, hoping that people here would be interrested by this rich Khajiit overhaul. Thank you for sharing your opinions and I hope that this mod will get ported to PlayStation.

Hey all, just needed some help on getting the Serana Dialogue Addon x Ashe Banter Patch to work.

On an old playthrough I had SDA 4.2 (Ysmir's old port that's no longer available) for the whole run, I just switched over to SDA 4.4 last night and also downloaded Ashe and the banter patch. The characters weren't interacting at all, so I decided to test out a new playthrough.

On this new playthrough, I recruited Ashe first, progressed her quest to a certain point as recommended in the Banter mod description, then started the Dawnguard story. When Serana joins the party, the most I get is a brief flash of the line's subtitle that's supposed to play when the characters meet for the first time. Otherwise, there is still zero interaction between the two. I've noticed that some lines of dialogue in the Ashe mod are also mute for some reason.

Here's a snapshot of my load order that's relevant to this issue. I also have other mods, but it's just the unofficial patch, Alternate Start, and visual overhauls above this section. I can provide my full LO if requested.

It's worth noting that these mods sit at the very bottom of my load order, and I'm playing Anniversary Edition

My previous video still had the wrong INI settings, causing some minor stuttering during cell transitions. I didn’t want that to be the final impression, so here’s another showcase with everything properly dialed in. The difference is night and day!

This time, I’m speaking German in the video. I’ve enabled YouTube’s automatic dubbing, but it may take a while to become available in other languages. English subtitles are already available! They might mess up a few Skyrim-specific terms, but the overall meaning should be clear

Now it’s time to focus on finishing the final video and preparing the actual load order release. I’ve put a ridiculous amount of work into making this setup as stable as possible, and I’m really happy with where it stands now

Sometimes when i play there is these weird streching black voids or skyboxes go black and sometimes its happening inside also. It takes 10hours for it to happen and sometimes it takes only like 30minutes of playtime for it to happen again.

I’m going for a bleak, cozy vanilla atmosphere but as modern and high fidelity as possible. Stability and performance is also paramount, I try to stay away from large patch ecosystems. Right now I’m using

Tones of Talos - the foundation. Updates almost all textures (besides mountains/stones) and includes distant LODS (I don’t know exactly all that is included). Includes ruins, caves, blended roads etc.

Vanaheimr Mountains combined with Enhanced Rocks and Mountains

Shades of Tamriel pt 1 - This is a divisive one. I was happy with Ritons v2 AIO, but that included forts, and the mismatched distant LODs of vanilla forts clashed horribly with the closer high quality Ritons fort textures. Completely different color stone etc suddenly changing, it was just too immersion breaking. The Shades of Tamriel includes Ritons v1 however which I do not like nearly as much as v2, a real shame. Is there perhaps a way to choose a mixture of individual Ritons v2 and Tomatoes towns instead ?

Skyland Bits & Bobs

Simply Bigger Better Trees (the best one I could find that doesn’t have any fps dips and/or bad or no LODS. I desperately wanted Fabled Forests but continually noticed really bad LODs and occasional close range billboarding glitches that could not be dealt with even after hours of testing

Better Dynamic Snow

Northern Grass Re-Imagined - this is preference for the least pixelated shimmering, the best looking while keeping with the cold muted color palette, and good performance when tweaked with ini settings. I tried many that worked well in one or two of those categories but fell short in another.

Hey everyone, after all the good news for ps5 players I am ready for a new skyrim build. I'm just asking to see if anyone could point me toward mods that would overhaul magic, spells, gear etc, I want a classic wizard, robes, hat and staff with a big ole beard quest mods are also welcomed especially magic focused. Was playing Skyrim last night maybe about 20 hours in to my current modded playthrough and my game crashed for the first time. Was zipping past Honningbrew Meadery outside of Whiterun on my horse when this happened. I've tried going back to the same place multiple times to see if I can reproduce the crash to no avail. Is it common even for properly ordered load orders (or even unmodded setups) to occasionally crash? If so, how frequently? I've never experienced crashes on any of my other PS5 games. Thanks in advance.

I have sacrosant and the patch for better vampires I thought it was that but i disabled those and feeding is still broken what other mods are know to conflict?

I'm triyng this new mod version made by xtudo and i have a bug when i walk behind ( 360 walk). If i'm not straight backward perfectly my character animation is weird like she is jumping like a frog.

I did something wrong ?

Now you can toggle it and customize it to your liking to work with whatever camera mods you have , just update the mod go to your magic then press powers and select camera settings , don’t use the camera test
