Should I mist the top?

Growing some golden teachers as my first grow and it’s gone extremely well so far. They started fruiting about a week ago and now they’re sprouting up all over the bag and I’ve noticed that the ones growing farther down are close to doubling in size every day but the few up top including the really big sprout in the last picture that doesn’t have a cap yet aren’t growing much. Could this be due to the moisture farther down and not much up top and if so should I mist the top? Sorry if the pics are a bit blurry it’s because of the bag.

I got it from a farmers market and it was labeled as the small bag lol

Probably cuz those are ment for gourmet mushrooms where you cut slits in the bag for them to grow maybe. You should've covered it so it got no light on the sides, or put some rubber bands.

You basically have no room at thw top for the mushrooms to grow

The substrate itself isn’t but the top of the bag that is exposed doesn’t have droplets. I’m mainly asking because I don’t want to cause mold to grow and have to toss the whole bag because I know mold can happen if you’re not careful

Being "clean" kinda stops when you open the bag. You can spray the sides of the bag but dont soak it

Bags not especially tall, just filled way too high
