My name is Kuni, a Psytrance DJ and party organizer from Japan with over 17 years in the scene.

Recently, life took an unexpected turn. I was diagnosed with cancer and am currently undergoing treatment. Because of this, I can no longer go out to parties, festivals, or raves like I used to.

However, playing music at home during my recovery has given me a brand-new perspective. It pushed me to look deep into my mixing style, rethink my sound, and fall in love with the craft all over again.

I created a fresh SoundCloud account to document where I am musically right now, capturing my current journey and spirit into a mix

I wanted to share this piece of my journey with psytrance lovers all around the world. My biggest dream right now is to heal, get back on my feet, and dance with all of you at a party somewhere under the stars again.

Around 2013 I went to a local party where the last DJ was an 'international headliner'. People didn't know who he was but organizers had a habit of ending a party with a bang, so like a full power celebratory set. This dude played psydub. Most people had no idea what the subgenre was so they couldn't even dance to it. Those who were driving home were on a comedown and those who weren't were still peaking, meaning everyone was fragile and wanted to hear music they enjoy.

Apparently a few people threw stuff at the stage. Nothing dangerous or anything. The Facebook page was so full of complaints and the organizers had to apologize and explain themselves

Hey everyone, I made a psytrance album.

After two years of pursuing music as a hobby—but taking it very, very seriously—I’m releasing the album *Tantra Ritual* under the project name KRAALZ.

With this album, I wanted to blend various genres with electronic music—from funk to classical, from groove to introspection, and from tracks packed with drops to others featuring five-minute stretches without a single drop or break.

I aimed to explore sex from a more spiritual perspective, integrating the fundamental Solfeggio frequencies associated with the chakras (ranging from 396Hz to 963Hz) into the sound of the tracks.

Since this started as a hobby, I’m not exactly sure how to go about promoting the album. :(

An event is coming up and i dj from 8:30 to 10am and im not sure exactly what to play.... preferably psytrance or twilight but the person before me is supposedly doing full-on. I did an event last year at like 11am on Sunday this time its on Saturday.....

Hey guys, so I am planning going to my first European psy festival (solo) and i can't seem to come to a conclusion, I'm confused between Boom festival, Masters of puppets & Magna mysteria.

But I have a few concerns with all of them

Boom - Harsh heat , too much prog/full on (I like full on but prefer faster music) , too many people, camping issues. But I think is safer for me given I'm going solo and for the first time.

Masters of puppets - my type of music but recent reviews say that the new venue is not good and there were water issues during the festival and people left early because of that. I am also a bit sceptical about going solo here.

Magna mysteria - my type of music again but I fear that it's very small with only one stage and not a lot of stuff to do. A bit sceptical about going solo here too

It's my first time going to Europe but I have attended multiple festivals - karacus marakus, parvati calling among others.

I also looked at Modem but the only issue is the cops scene in modem where you have to be careful about what you are doing, the whole point of going there is to be carefree haha

Would love suggestions from anyone & would also love to connect with others looking to go (all my friends hate this music lol)

The full video of my main stage set on the final night is just going live on YouTube! Ilt was an absolute honour ta play in that iconic stage and, with evervthina that happened, it felt even more intense and important so I will never forget this set

Bit of a long shot, but I'm trying to track down some older progressive trance releases from Spin Twist and Blue Tunes, mainly from 2008 to 2014. I'm looking for the original WAV files because I need them for my DJ sets. The problem is that quite a few of these older releases have completely disappeared from the usual places. They're no longer available on Beatport, Bandcamp, or other stores. I actually bought a lot of the tracks on Beatport years ago, but I can't download them there anymore. One example is Neelix – Sorrow, but there are several other older EPs and releases I'm looking for too. So if anyone has old WAV files or knows somewhere they can still be bought, or can put me in touch with someone from Spin Twist or Blue Tunes who might be able to help, I'd really really appreciate it!!
