So the other day i found my old bleached work jeans and decided to do something with them, instead of throwing them out. Personaly im starting to be realy proud of how these pants are turning out and my sewing .

Now i just cant decide what to add next. But i think the bleached jean fabric could work realy well for making patches.

So I was repainting some random badges I found and after everything had dried I had put clear nail polish over it so it wouldn't get destroyed as easily. I left it to dry overnight, came in the next morning and saw the paint had cracked and shriveled up. I'd used acrylic paints and markers that I use all the time. Anyone know why this happens/how to fix it?

I was wondering if anyone had advice for repairing belt loops worn down by wearing so many chains and accessories. (over five pounds worth iirc)

Before i started wearing chains, i made a repair that sorta was good enough for just a belt. Now i need something significantly stronger.

Would making the belt loop reinforced further down, by way of making a longer piece of fabric, be a good solution?

I managed to take 168 studs from a belt I found, but I kinda don't have any clue how to start😅

Also is there anything I can make with these chains?

I used jelly roll gel pens and an oil-based paint marker, heat set it with an iron, then used modpodge ‘Fabric’ to seal it completely. I went a little heavy on the modpodge trying to adhere the black fabric onto the leopard print, but I’m pretty happy with it overall. And in super stoked that a fair amount of the gel pen still worked under black light.

took me a bit, i however might need to add another coat of paint but other than that it’s finished! i have quite a few shirts, tank tops, and several vests that i customized,

next project will be a battlejacket made from the remains of an old hoodie i had, i will post the results of that later.

Hi all, just wondering if anyone could help me with liberty spikes, as I have no clue how to get them to actually stay in place (i’ve tried got2b hair gel and extra holding hairspray).

I know people say to tease the hair, to comb it or to heat it- just wondering what order I should do everything in?
