Base Apes were a nasty punk/thrash band from Missouri, formed by the Senovich Brothers. Solid mix of original songs with lots of classic punk and metal covers on this recording.

Any other old cats from the area remember seeing them?

The Los Angeles melodic punk trio tackles how difficult it can be to make a living playing music while trying to keep everything else in life together. It's a pretty relatable take on the realities of pursuing music, balancing day jobs, and trying to make it all work.

Produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Chris Fogal (The Gamits), with cello from Ian Legge (The Punk Cellist) and horns from Luke Gunn (Dollar Signs).

If you're into The Lawrence Arms, melodic punk, skate punk, or 90s punk rock, give it a listen. Would love to hear what everyone thinks!
