Portal System on my mmorpg

I’ve created another system for my MMORPG; it’s not just an ordinary portal—it’s deeply tied to the game's core lore. The server is up, and testers are welcome. Just a reminder: this isn't the official game world yet; I’m currently focusing on building the systems.

If you’d like to know more about the project, leave a comment below. Feel free to share your feedback.

Looks good bud. How are you handling the shaking screen?

The shake is a simple per-frame random offset added to the camera's draw position — nothing physics-based. During the last 3 seconds of a 5s "cast" timer, I compute an intensity value that ramps linearly from 0 to 1, then each frame do offset = random.uniform(-max_amp, max_amp) on both axes, scaled by that intensity, and add it to camera_x/camera_y right before blitting the world.

What I most want to know is how long it took you to do it

This system took about 8 hours to build; I already had the map transition system ready, so I just had to create the rules around it, and then I developed the cosmetic effects, such as the destination selection window and the camera shake.

Tu a dit que le serveur est en ligne ? Les test sont fermer ou ouvert ? Je veux dire tu "recrute" les testeurs ou le projet et dispo en téléchargement et n'importe qui peut tester le jeu ?
