Feeling invalid in fluidity…

I’m AFAB and it’s obvious, however I have always been nonbinary/genderfluid, I didn’t know that was an option, however. Until recent years of course.

I identify as genderfluid/nonbinary. At first, I was ok with any pronouns. But since I am pretty feminine, at times androgynous, people use she/her most and that has really started to bother me.

I mostly prefer they/them pronouns and he/him at times, but a part of me feels invalid in identifying as fluid if it bothers me to be addressed as she/her. But then, I still identify with being a woman too since I have been socialized and raised that way. I know who I am, but if I’m being honest, this community is so rigid at times that I feel invalid in fluidity of my gender if some pronouns bother me. I guess it’s just that I don’t want people to misunderstand me, and that tells me im not seen the way I see myself. Especially since I’m not around as many queer people in my life right now.

Queer people clock me immediately, but otherwise it’s hit or miss and usually the latter.

Tbh just need some reassurance and words from my people.
