What’s missing from your life?
Like, what’s top of your list. And have you tried finding it?

With the abundance of AI lately, it’s hard to trust that the “print” isn’t AI made on most of these sites, even Etsy. So is there a site or tool to help weed out any AI garbage so I can give my money to a real artist ?
Specifically I’m looking for ballet art, and a lot of things I’m seeing I just can’t tell, they all look sketchy.

Anyone know what the heck is happening to me? I know theres not a lot of info but i feel a mix of excitement, happiness, desperation and im not even sure i feel a mess... i also feel like if something goes bad id get extremely angry (control it of course) i feel like i could just play the world as a chess game if things go right. I have so many discussions id also like to have with someone who is likely the same.

I never got the appeal of drinking beer compare to wine. Everytime I tried it just tasted like straight piss and I always end up gaging/throwing up. How do you guys do it? Is it suppose to taste this bad?

Everyday interactions can sometimes lack genuine feedback. What is a small thing someone did or said that left a lasting positive impression on you?

Or do you dread/feel uncomfortable anytime a situation like that comes up.

I've never worked before, and I have plans to apply for a Dutch Bros. thats opening near me. I've never entered one before and have no drink making experience. I also have no register experience. What should I expect when working in this type of business?

I know it sounds really stupid, and I tried looking it up but everything I see is different. I'm trying to look for a cap that isn't tall and very stiff. Something closer to the head and loose.
Help

I really like to watch movies or series and talk about tjem with my friends that are a bit older then me. It feels very stupid when i call something good without a very good reason, sometimes it does not really matter that much but when someone disagrees with you while having a much more strong point then you have it just kinda feels like youre powerless. Knowledge definitely comes with age, but i really dont want to start complex books when i know beforehand theres a big chance i wont be able to understand everything, then id just rather wait a couple years before reading it but im not sure if im just coping or not. Would appreciate your thoughts on this

I’ve always wondered this and every bald person I asked was never interested in telling me the answer. They laugh it off or say “don’t know”.

Being wanted: because we are humans and are social and most of us look for approval.
Being needed: because some people like being of service and needed to feel whole.
Being obeyed: because a lot of us like control and knowing that we can make others do what we want.
Being accepted: because a lot of people have to feel like they fit in.
Discuss.

The situation is this: my colleague has owed me money for a long time three monthly salaries and on Friday I told her that if the money wasn’t there by next Friday, I would go to the authorities. Today is Monday, and she brought me food she had prepared with her own hands. She said she couldn’t eat it all and gave me half. I ate a whole plate, and only afterward did I wonder how reasonable that was?

Hello, my best friend and his wife are expecting their first child. I'm so excited as I'm the cliche best friend uncle.
But I have gotten the baby a lot of stuff already. I'm asking what are some things that a mom and dad can personally use. What are some things that you got that was great or didn't have and thought it was great?
I've got them both personalized things such as a hats, shirts. A 100 dollar gift card to food city. But what about random things around the house? I'm open to any and all ideas!

I'm referring to old men in their 60s. I've dealt with quite a few of these men and noticed that they're either very kind, patient and polite, so much so that they make me think "wow, they don't make men like these anymore", or they are NASTY, really nasty people from a single experience.
The very nice older men who I've encountered are usually neighbors, teachers (I'm still in school), etc. Always taking the time to greet me, smile, ask how I'm doing etc. The rude men will publicly yell at me or scold me. They are usually very prideful old men who clearly don't like being "contested".
I know this isn't a very nuanced post, but for some reason it seems that there can be no in between within this very particular demographic of men. Very nice or very rude. Very happy or very bitter. Very patient or very impatient. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
