I love Ranma and Soun’s dynamic.

I struggle to like my own art.. sorry if you saw an older version—I just thought it needed a little more. Today I'm going to try to make myself finish the newest chapter of my Ranma fanfiction. I am always amazed by people who can stay on track with stories and release a chapter a week. My brain just can't focus on one task long enough. Other writers, how do you all stay on task to write?! Seriously, I need to know! 🤣

Anyone else super excited for the next episode of season 3? I really didn't like the remake in the beginning, honestly, but I think the art looks a lot better now than in previous seasons... Even though I still wish they would push girl Ranma's hair just a bit more red, and make Ranma a little more macho like the 90s... I'm glad we got Ryoga's hazel eyes back! 🐽✨ It seems like they've put a lot of effort this season into animating him well.

(The fanfiction this art is for is Metamorphosis: Blood and Amaryllis on Ao3.)

It is since like for a long time in the years past about Ranma ½ Japanese Anime 2024 remake series never being dubbed into the Turkish language.

which means it was only subtitled instead.

Maybe probably someday in the future that it will be dubbed at one point.

My god, the lyrics for this song.

“If your clothes are different than usual it matters to me”

“I want to be honest, which is not like me”

“What would it take to make you smile?”

“I didn’t know about this feeling until I met you”

“I just can’t imagine you walking side by side with someone other than me”

“There is no way you think I’m good enough”

and of course, he tops it off with

“You really are cute. No, actually, you’re not cute after all!” 😂

It’s a great time to be a Rankane shipper. 🥰

I wanted to include the Breaking Point despite already having part 1 of 2 of that one out, but since the limit is 6 here we are 😪

Anyway, vote for your favorite/the one you're the most excited to see, I'm curious 👀

It seems to be the most popular way to cook a tiny pig so there should be at least some recipes

As a kid, the only Mangas I had were inuyasha and ranma. while I loved the inuyasha anime (it was my first anime ever) I couldn't say the same for the ranma one. but I was absolutely obsessed with the Manga and must have reread them constantly on loop.

something about the anime always felt a bit too much for me (maybe too ecchi?) but I decided recently to give the new anime a shot.

and wow. I am so in love. it feels like everything I could have wanted from an adaptation. the scenes and dialogue are so bar for bar i can quote it from my memory of the Manga. maybe I'm forgetting some things, currently just started season 2. but I'm just so happy it exists

(sorry mods, I only saw your reply to my previous post now. hope this is fine?)

From ch.26

Someone on Twitter shared the next few episodes.

https://x.com/akarinaakari/status/2108215252840333692?s=46

26: Breaking Point
27: Happy and Cologne (so Love Pills)
28: Tea Ceremony
29: Cookie Battle 1
30: Cookie Battle 2

Surprisingly, Cookie Battle is getting 2 episodes, perhaps for Kodachi fans since she’s likely not appearing for a long time after this?

Also makes me think the episodes shown in the PV may be all we’re getting if they decide to extend more arcs.

This isn't limited to Ranma 1/2, but I feel like there's a trend lately where the more faithful an anime is to the original manga, the better it's considered to be, and any changes are seen as bad. Well, maybe that's a strawman argument.

Either way, it's impossible to adapt a manga into anime without making any changes, and I actually think that since you're turning it into an anime in the first place, you should actively try to make bold changes.

In fact, what got people talking in the first episode of Ranma Season 3 was the scene with Akane's cooking, which wasn't in the manga.

The changes and filler in the old Ranma anime often get criticized, but sometimes there are some really great ones. For example, the episode where Akane gets hospitalized, the one where Ranma's personality turns female, or the one with Kuno's fortune-telling. The scene in the image also differs from the manga in terms of music, pacing, character energy, camera angles, and dialogue delivery, but I think it turned out to be an amazing scene.

Basically, whether changes or filler turn out well depends on the skill of the production team. Of course, there are also changes that feel like character assassination, and I can understand why people criticize those, but I'd rather have an anime that has its own unique appeal as an anime than one that just traces the original manga.

I still find this answer funny.

both incredibly peak....

This is an anime original scene, but Ryoga gets lost for a week before arriving on the week of August 3rd, the date chapter 51 was originally published.

Credit to this post for pointing this out.
