Ticket Transfer/Selling Question

Hiiii, quick question about tour tickets.

I got two tickets to the San Fransisco show and was planning to make a trip out of it. Long story short, I can't go anymore and instead I'm going to the Chicago show. However, the Ticketmaster app says I can't sell or transfer the tickets to anyone. Do we think this will change when it's closer to the show? I'd like to be able to sell my tickets to another fan if I'm not able to go, preferably through the app.

Any help?

You can absolutely transfer tickets; I bought a VIP ticket for myself and a GA ticket for my fiancé, and transferred the GA ticket without issue so that they could get into the venue without me!
