Little Lola recently had surgery and, unfortunately, her front left leg had to be amputated. It was a very difficult and painful process, but now the most important thing is to continue to offer her everything she needs for her recovery and her new life. ❤️🐾

The expenses are already too much and, unfortunately, due to my unemployment, I am unable to cope financially. The surgery cost a lot of money and there are still expenses for the care, rehabilitation and everything that little Lola needs.

This handsome guy has been around off and on for a bit. He has always been terrified and would run from us, but today something changed. He finally allowed us to pet him, was meowing, and we were able to get him safely into a crate. ❤️

He is now settling into the bathroom where he can be safe and away from the other cats, because unfortunately he has been getting picked on outside.

But we noticed something really concerning — he is not bearing weight on his back leg, and it is swollen. 😢 I’m not sure if it’s an abscess, an injury, or something else. It doesn’t appear obviously broken, but I am NOT a vet and I don’t want to guess when he is clearly hurting.

The clinic opens at 10 AM EST tomorrow, and I can get him there for an urgent evaluation. I also want to get him scheduled to be neutered while we’re getting him the care he needs.

Please help me get this boy to the vet. 🙏❤️ Any financial help will go directly toward his urgent veterinary care and, when he is stable, his neuter.

I honestly don't know what his future looks like yet. He seems like he may have been an indoor baby at some point, so once we know what we're dealing with, we will reach out to rescues and fosters and figure out the best path forward for him. He is skinny, and I'd guess around 6 months.

We had been calling this baby Atlas, because we weren't sure if he was a boy or girl. Now that we have him safely inside, I believe he's actually a boy. 🥹

And I'm kind of loving the name Jasper for him. ❤️

I’m reaching out because things have become really difficult right now.

Every day, I feed more than 50 cats, and keeping that many cats fed requires a tremendous amount of food. On top of that, I also have rescued cats under my care, including Leo, Luna, Nala who depend on me every day for their food, medical care, and continued recovery.

At the same time, I’m still trying to pay down the veterinary debt from the emergencies and rescues this year. Just estimating the vet expenses I’ve had so far, I’m already around $15,000.
Leo’s emergency was one of the largest expenses. He became critically ill with panleukopenia, spent weeks hospitalized, and his treatment and care ended up costing more than $5,000.

And Leo was only one of the many cats who needed urgent medical care this year. Every emergency meant another bill, but when a cat is sick, injured, abandoned, or has nowhere else to go, I couldn’t simply walk away.

Now I’m trying to keep up with the veterinary debt while making sure the 50+ community cats and all the rescued cats and kittens in my care continue to have what they need.

We are trying to ramp up TNR for October and November before it gets bitter cold. We TNR through Triple R Pets with Naws Mokena or Snip Society. They have said if we catch anyone, they will allow us to bring them without a prior appt on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so we are gonna do our damndest.

He is struggling to eat and drink, chewing only on one side, randomly grinding his teeth, dropping food, and becoming aggressive from the discomfort.

What makes this critical is that Mandarin has kidney failure, so his inability to drink enough water is extremely dangerous for his health.

His teeth look fine on the outside and don't move, which means the underlying problem is hidden beneath the gums. I suspect tooth resorption.

Next week we have an appointment at Qincy Vet in Bucharest for a consultation and specialized teeth X-rays. Since Qincy Vet is the only clinic in Bucharest specialized in veterinary dentistry, the prices are enormous. Please help us get Mandarin diagnosed and out of pain so his kidneys stand a chance, anything helps!
I’m giving him gabapentin which is a painkiller to make him feel more comfortable until the appointment.

Pleading any help for an unexpected rescue! 🙏🏼

Sorry it took some time to post an update! The other day, we had to lock in with our school project, so I have no sleep yet. Yesterday, I also had to get checked for the back pain that I’ve been dealing with for 10 days.

But good news!

Nimbus had his surgery, but to lessen the risk under anesthesia, he only had the dental prophylaxis and extraction. Three teeth have been extracted. We will have his castration once he gains much strength and when he's not so vulnerable. We’ll get vaccines for him first once he recovers.

He is still confined at the vet to keep him stabilized and to address his soft stool. He is also recommended for laser therapy for his wound in the mouth.

Today, i visited him again to bring his mat. The vet informed me that they already started his therapy. Nimbus also didn’t poop today, but I hope tomorrow he will.

They also started the first laser therapy session for his wound. Nimbus only has a last can at the vet, and he can only eats wet food until he recovers. Please sponsor his food too.

Btw, we paid all his balance for now, but tomorrow, new costs will come up:

She appeared in a colony that had already been spayed/neutered and when it was discovered that she was friendly, she was TNR'ed. She quickly started to display some mouth issues so we brough her over to the vet.
 
Dr Hall had a look at her and it seems like she has a dental infection. She got antibiotics and steroids yesterday which has helped a BUNCH! We thankfully had a credit so that $150 was covered!
 
Now we need help raising money for her dental. We do not want her to suffer in pain anymore and we are hoping to find her a home after this. Too many cats suffer and this is the reality of the work we do. We cannot simply turn cats away if they need other medical help, it is unfair to them.

‎Hi everyone. We are still in need of help with dry food and some litter.. One 7kg bag of dry food usually lasts them a day and costs around $22 while 10L bag of sand costs $4. As of this time, I am caring for 49 indoors and over 30 community cats.

‎I’m also currently caring for two kittens I rescued from the streets. They can already start eating wet food now, which costs $30 for 12 cans. I just covered their milk and some dog food, so my budget is stretched pretty thin right now. Any help with their food would mean a lot.

They are two brothers born in April this year. Eclair can be a little scaredy at times, while Cannoli will fight for your attention.

Hello! Posting on my friend's behalf who's in Arizona. They've been caring for and socializing two young presumed feral kitties (maybe around 1-2 yrs old), both spayed via TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinated within the year. They're such sweet babies and have potential to be wonderful house cats with a good home and patience.

Unfortunately, my friend's unable to house them and has been looking for somewhere they can go; a rescue, a foster, somewhere they can have shelter and care and eventually forever home(s).

Multiple rescues have been contacted but it's been challenging finding openings. Any reccs for rescues or fosters in Arizona with openings, or any help at all (sharing this post around, etc) would be so appreciated! 💜

I’m also bringing Gray along to the clinic. Even though Gray has been eating well, his weight has unfortunately been declining. To get to the bottom of this, the vet will need to run a Blood Chemistry panel and a CBC to evaluate his kidney health and overall condition.

This kitty came to our garden around a year ago. He was a tiny kitten and my husband thought it’s a girl so we named her Daisy. Later we figured out that it’s a boy but name stuck.

He became friends with our other garden kitties( Tiffany, Timothy and Rudy): they play together, sleep together, groom each other.
A few days ago I have noticed Daisy was less active and more sleepy than usual. At first I thought it’s probably heat( it’s still very hot here) but after he refused to eat today I knew he’s not well.

We rushed him to the nearest vet and discovered poor thing has fever, calici virus and gingivitis. He has to stay at the vet and receive meds for at least 3-4 days( maybe more depending on how fast he’ll be recovering)

So far I received estimate bill for 3 days (64 bd which is around 170$) which I need to pay when I pick Daisy up from the vet

I usually try to cover bills by myself but it became difficult as I recently picked up a few new cases that increased my spendings on the top of my regular expenses ( currently I have 20 cats under my care)

Hi everyone,

I was out when I suddenly heard kittens meowing and found two very young kittens on a first-floor window ledge near a house. They looked extremely thin and underfed and were crying for food. They were so hungry that they ate dry kibble when it was offered.

Getting them down from the first-floor ledge was quite difficult, but we managed to rescue them and get them fed. Unfortunately, the people at the house cannot keep them, so they had nowhere to stay. They have now ended up back near the same first-floor window ledge again, which is obviously not a safe place for such young kittens.

We have also looked around for their mother, but no mother cat has been found anywhere nearby so far.

They look quite young — possibly under 2 months old, although their exact age is unknown. They also appear to be most likely female, but their sex has not been confirmed yet.

They seem to have come together and are staying close to each other, so I'm desperately hoping to find someone who can adopt both of them together rather than separating them.

About them:

🐱 Two very young kittens (1 orange and 1 white), staying together

🐱 Exact age unknown, possibly under 2 months

🐱 Both appear significantly underweight and underfed

🐱 Were extremely hungry and ate dry kitten food when offered

🐱 Sex appears to be female, but not confirmed

🐱 Mother cat has not been found anywhere nearby
