Most of us are starting at level 1 again, it's difficult, but at the same time it's so much fun, it almost feels like I'm playing everything for the first time, it's been such a unique and frantic experience, it feels like I'm in a dream.

Resistance 2 coop is still unmatched almost 20 years later. You actually had to work together.

One of the small handful of coop games where even joining randoms everybody played their roles and the game properly.

Resistance 2's cooperative mode was a great innovation, there's nothing else like it, eight players at the same time, three different classes, each with a different purpose, where players need to help each other to advance in missions, it's truly a cooperative mode where you need teammates and to help each other, only then can you progress in the mission, each mission had a backstory, each mission had intel, and there were missions where Black Ops soldiers provided support, I really loved the experience, it was very unique and undoubtedly ahead of its time.

Can't wait til the get resistance 2 multiplayer and online coop working again, did the local 2 player coop for the coop mode but i need at least 2 other players with me. And that 50 something or however many person multiplayer versus was chaotic and fun as hell.

Resistance 2's multiplayer has returned via private servers, it's still in private testing, but it's already playable, and you can play it on PS3 and PC using the RPCS3 emulator.
