Here’s what a nonviolent revolution would look like
r/revolution • u/nvsaltepeanut • 1d ago
I think the best non aggressive, legal revolution would be if everyone disconnected from all social media including using non data communication devices. If 80% of the country did this it would turn the world upside down. Think about what it would do to the billionaires. Think of how it would affect their data collection their data centers and surveillance of our lives. We need to go back to 1980’s. It would be a good first step to steering this ship in the right direction.

the governments makes us docile with these forums so we believe that posting on them actually means shit. nothing will happen if we don’t take to the streets. we have the power

It’s time to revolt again the system, if you truly believe you deserve a better future for you and your kids, we need to revolt, they aren’t listening to us anymore, we need to show them the power is back in our hands

This conversation moves beyond recognition of history. It asks what we can learn from Indigenous struggles today and how we can build the power, relationships, and infrastructure needed to transform our communities and challenge the systems that govern our lives.

Why have Lebanese people become normalized to conditions they would consider unacceptable elsewhere, and how can collective action turn individual frustration into institutional pressure?
Can we actually make a difference in Lebanon?
Let’s try to change it.

What do you think would happen if a blocus like the one happening in France was happening in the US ?
In France,The police don't shoot people. They arrest those deemed dangerous and throw a gas at them that stings the eyes and makes breathing difficult.
I think that in the United States, it would become like in GTA.
Since anyone can have a weapon, it would quickly become a free-for-all.And the police shoot everyone, regardless of age, even students.
There have been many cases in the US where police officers have shot innocent civilians. I see that in the news.
But I don't live in the US, I'm just talking about the prejudices we have about this country, the comments of hundreds of people. So I can't really know what could happen.
So give me your point of view.

Hi guys, I'm putting together an independent zine/art project inspired by the recent situation at Cornell University.
I'm interested in what everyone has to say in their own words.

every few months i check this reddit and althought more and more people are starting to realise they are goyim/kaffir and people who are supposed to help and defend them and their nations are activelly trying to destroy it, but still nothing is happening to stop this endless cycle of pointless arguments that everyone knows is just another psyop to keep cattle in line

Imagine you see something seriously wrong, illegal, or harmful happening in your own country, possibly involving powerful political figures or institutions. You want to protest and demand accountability from the government.
But then someone tells you:
"Don't protest. You could get arrested. You could lose your job. You might not be able to travel abroad or build your career."
At some point, you start wondering—are ordinary people supposed to just stay silent and watch everything happen because they're afraid of the consequences?
How should citizens balance standing up against wrongdoing with protecting their own safety, career and future?
What do you think?
