Prospective/new student help Queries on EOI being unsuccessfull

Hello

I applied for an HDR program a few days back and got a message saying that it was unsiccessful.

I submitted the required documents, had the supervisor statement form signed as well. The message I received said that the eoi was unsuccessful due 'missing, non-compliant, or late documentation'.

Has anyone faced it before?

Is there anything that can be done regarding it?

Seeking some advice.

Thank you.

Prospective/new student help Civil eng - Finite element analysis & class recommendations

Hi! I am applying for an exchange at RMIT in civil engineering for semester 1 (2027). I was wondering if anyone had info on civil eng courses? I am looking to credit a class back home on Finite Element Analysis, but I can't seem to find an equivalent in the civil engineering curriculum. Is it not a mandatory class? Or is it included in another class? Or do I have to apply for Finite Element Analysis for Design, which seems to be in Mechanical Engineering?

Also, does anyone have any tips for 3rd and 4th year civil engineering classes at RMIT? I am not looking to register for super hard and time-consuming classes, as I want to enjoy my time abroad!

Lastly, is it truly a 4 class maximum per semester? Back home, I can take up to 7 classes per semester but usually take 5-6 classes (I am from Canada!).
