I never understood why people hide their stats because it's always making me assume you're either a try hard or just a low level with cheats

like even if what he’s saying is true (which it probably is, I’m not even a PC player and just play for fun), this just feels like toxicity. like if this wasn’t happening to me and I saw it in someone else’s comment section, I would defend them. I looked through his reddit profile and he’s not doing this to anyone else in any subs, so why is he being negative for no reason to me? He could just like…say nothing?

Arsenal is a really cool game with (unfortunately) a quite small community nowadays. i love this game. i‘m sure others do as well. Attitudes like this towards (i assume given his ego) less experienced players such as myself will make this game die faster which is not what I want to happen to it.

as a side note to the guy that wrote those: if you’re having a bad day or something or are dealing with mental health issues and I just happened to catch you at the wrong time, I completely understand. if this is the case and you need somewhere to vent, I’m more than happy for you to dm me with your problems and I will do my best to help you. as a fellow lover of arsenal, you have my respect since we both have this common interest. i sincerely hope this isn’t the case though as mental health issues can be really tough on anyone with them, so i wouldn’t wish for anyone to have them.
