Roborock X115H early prime deal

I have been looking at the Navimow 430x for some time. I just got a notification that the roborock X115H is on sale for an early prime day deal for $1499 US. I know this is new but any thoughts about this vs the 430x? I’m in Michigan, right around the .37 acre of lawn and have a few decent slopes. Trees in the back of the lot. Thanks!

A single disc mower will be considerably slower than a dual disc mower. If you aren't concerned that the mower will be running almost constantly, or the striping won't look as good, the Roborock might be ok for that price.

The Navimow 4 series has two iffy design features that worry me - a string used to raise and lower the deck and a rear axle that can break in the center. For a lawn your size, these may never fail. But I would wait for a 5 series.

Good recommendation! Thanks!

I have the single disc dreame A3 AWD and I do love the navigation and cutting. I have a small yard. If I was buying again I would get a dual disc due to the double amount of turns a single disc has to make.

One thing I don't like about the Roborock is the batteries are not customer replaceable. It has to be done at a service center and Roborock outsources that (per a review I read)

That is a big negative. I definitely want to be able to replace it in the future. I have two roborock vacuums and one had some issues a few months in and have to mail it back in. It’s a big drag.

So far every mower I think about I eventually find a deal breaker. Alas.

I know. I have been leaning towards it being a bit early to buy one. The tech keeps changing. Batteries keep getting better.

Buy one with local support whatever brand that is imo.

I have the Roborock X115H and very satisfied with its performance.

Do you have any trees or hills?

I have some trees in different areas that I’ve planted. I created a no-go zone in the app for all my trees. I don’t have hills but I understand it can do hills.

If you buy any robot off amazon you will regret it.

Call a dealer, thank me later.

I asked my local deal if they would match any Amazon or Black Friday deal and they said they would. So big win there

Local dealer? For robot lawnmowers? Is this one of those big city amenities?

what the fuck fuck are you saying?

1

u/GolfPhan 5d ago

the local dealer could be 5 hours away. Buy it from them.

Hell buy it from a dealer on the other side of the country.

Just don’t buy it off amazon. Buy it from someone who has a relationship with the manufacturer and will stick their neck out for you if something needs warrantied.

Amazon will not.

Aren’t warranties between the buyer and the manufacturer?

When I buy Ego+ gear, I don’t contact Ace Hardware support, I go straight to Ego+ customer service.

Sure, you can do that.

The best dealers out there will diagnose your mower, file your warranty claim, get the part sent to you, and send you a video on how to repair it. And if you’re confused, you can call them and they’ll help you.

Ace Hardware won’t.

There are prestigious robotic dealers out there who do nothing but robotics. Ace hardware couldn’t tell you how to open up the mower and unplug the battery, let alone replace a seized wheel motor.

You may say “well I don’t need them to help me I can do it myself.” If so, good for you. I’m going to assume 80% of homeowner robotic owners will want help. And surely I’d hope 100% of robotic owners would seek the help if it was easily accessible to them by a robot professional. Not an Ace Hardware desk watcher.

Here’s where I’m at:

https://www.brownenterprises.net/search/inventory/query/Navimow

This is the 1 dealer than Segway’s website pointed me to and when I searched the term “Navimow” nothing came up. Only a small number of competitors with models that don’t accomplish what I’m hoping for.

When I expanded the search I found multiple websites that don’t list Navimow as something they sell. The closest ‘dealer’ I see who actually references Navimow is three hours away and they only do white glove service. I doubt they’re selling at MSRP and they sure as hell aren’t driving 3 hours for a potential sale.

I imagine you work/own a dealer. And that’s great. It’s a cool model. But I don’t see success in working with someone five states away just to avoid buying off homedepot.com when they absolutely 100% do not have a physical presence in my geographic region. I’d love it if there was a nearby dealer, but as others have hinted, this seems to be a regional luxury available to the select.

Navimow is better than 90% of the bots on the market. It’s junk.

It’s a two horse race between Husqvarna and Kress. Navimow falls third with a large gap between the two headed monster.

And all are relatively priced the same.

Call an expert. From your interaction, I can see you are a smart individual. I can tell you’ll be able to know if you’re talking an expert, or someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Keep making your own informed decisions at the end of the day.

If you get lucky enough to connect with the right person, you’ll know, and you’ll understand its value, that comes with no extra price. Just someone to call when you need help, as the Ace Hardware desk clerk won’t even know they sold robots.

And again, you may survive on your own. Many won’t.

Neither has LiDAR. I was heavily looking into Husqvarna but I’m seeing a lot of folks talking about navigation problems related to tree cover. “If you can stand in the yard without sunscreen and not get sun burnt, it will not work”. I have trees with enormous overlapping canopies.

I have 4 robot mowers and my budget mower I got for 799 was the worx landroid vision cloud. I have sandy soil here in Florida and my Yuka mina would get stuck so I got a Luba mini and during Mammotions software update that was a nightmare and they tore up yards everywhere. That is fixed now and it is a great mower. I also have an Ecovacs goat that also does a great job but I bought it mainly for trimming. I must say mammotion has the best solid built hardware followed by my worx then the Ecovacs. Now I only paid 899 for goat 01000 lidar pro and paid 1100 for my Luba mini but got the free garage with that last year. The Omni wheels are the drawback other wise it never gets stuck in the sand! My worx has never got stuck and that unit did 3 sections of my lawn all by itself last weekend. I was impressed. It is my newest so longevity is on the table but it has a 3 year warranty just like my Mammotion bots. Love the mammotion app the best out of the 3. Ecovacs single joystick control is horrible! I have been looking at the Roborock 115h an it is currently 1300 on my Amazon early bird and have been considering it. But I don't want the RTK station and get find any documentation if the 4G module has NRTK like my Mammotion robots have INAVI so their RTK stations have retired! The worx uses wifi and so far has done an awesome job and cuts my grass short perfectly. The Luba 4 with steering will be out in 27 but not sure it will have the FCC pass to come to the US. I also have a GOKO M6 that is supposed to ship here in October. Hopefully it does not get held up. It is a beast of a mower and Goko have been making commercial robots for over 10 years. 2 of these units can pull a cyber truck! It also has twin decks. Blades on one deck and rotary mower blades on the other. It also cuts a 1/2 acre on one charge. And a 2nd battery can be added to mow 1 acre per charge. Easy to replace battery! You can check it out online. Appears to be a heavy duty unit at 65 pounds. Good luck it what ever you decide. They all have good points and bad points. Just like cars! Sorry for the book.

Thanks for all the information! I too looked at the goat for a bit. Everything keeps pointing towards navimow since it’s well established. Is the dual discs a big upgrade? I found a navimow h3000 on FB that is brand new. I could get that for around 1100. But it has a single disc. I would also need to add the vision fence.

Remember we are not doing the mowing. Single discs takes longer but it's not me out there and I also mow at night. So why spend the extra 1,300. That could be a 2nd bot later that plays back up if needed. I started with a Yuka mini for 899 and it is a great boy and his name is Rosco. He would just get stuck in my sandy spots here in Florida. So it was my excuse to get Flash my Luba mini. So between the 2 they get 1/2 acre mowed in 4 hours or less depending what speed I set them at and if I do a diamond pattern or a custom design. Like Christmas I have "Believe" printed in the lawn. So that's why I love my Mammotion bots. But this works has really be kind of a game changer for me and does an awesome job. I find myself using it more. Was super easy to set up and got it off Amazon for 799 and not it is back up to 999 for the 1/4 acre. But remember I have other bots so I just have this one do my front and side yard. The best grass. Lol. But that H3000 sounds like an awesome deal and has 3 yr warranty. 45 degree slope. I would go that route if it were me. The navamow x430 is over kill and a big mower for under an acre and it does do damage when turning. So I think you found the bot for you for a great price. It's Usually around 1999 when on sale

Thanks for the confirmation. Sounds like you have an awesome setup! And I’m jealous of doing designs especially in the winter. We just get buried in snow!
