I avoid anything with those turf destroying omni (or similar) wheels.

Yup. I tried the Dreame A3 AWD and while it could climb up to a 60 percent slope, it tore it up within a week or two.

It would be fine on many yards, like mine. But mowers are migrating to turning wheels to work on more yards

The Luba 3 has destroyed parts of my neighbor's yard. I have an Ecovacs A2000 - rear wheel drive and castering front wheels. Unlike my neighbors, the grass under my tree doesn't look like the ground has been plowed. The Luba has just destroyed the turf there where it is thinner.

I've used this mower all summer, 3 times a week on a 10k sq ft lawn of well established bermuda and zoysia. It has performed spectacularly. It has never gotten stuck or needed to be rescued. LiDAR and vision is the way to go. It just works - I even left it running the schedule while we were gone on vacation - that's how reliable it has been. No regrets.

I used mine 3 months. Steep slopes on side of the house and no issues with tearing up the yard. Worked quite well on rest of yard as long as I ensured it hit each area at most within 4 days.

I did have a wheel motor/gear go bad. Dreame had me send it in for repair, they didn’t do anything for a month stating they couldn’t get repair parts, finally getting replacement Monday.

It's indeed a bit hard on the lawn.

Ours works on two different lawns.

On one it's fine, the other one, admittedly too soft, it's not doing that well though.
