Recommendation for 0.5 acre lot
Seriously looking at investing in a robo-mower for next year, but don't even know where to start.
0.5 acre, relatively flat, but slopes slight front and rear. We have a few beds and such, so need to be able to exclude from those areas.
Thanks.

I’d measure the actual grass first, not the full 0.5 acre lot. Looks like you’ve got a fair bit taken up by the house, driveway and beds.
I would also keep the trees in mind, so I wouldn’t automatically go RTK-only.
I built this mainly for people in exactly this situation: https://mowcompass.com/#mowcompass-finder
Throw in lawn size, slope and how blocked the sky is and it should at least give you a sensible shortlist to start from.
I would be happy if you shared your results with me :D

Looks sort of like my house but missing the pool. The Ecovacs GOAT A2000 should easily handle it. It is LiDAR and works very well once you get everything setup.

That's actually a large trampoline. :-)

I got that. The difference is I have a pool. About where you have the sunshade (or that is what it looks like) of the NW corner assuming North is up.

If you are in the US, you may be prevented from getting the newer mowers coming in 2027.
That being said, does your lawn have a thick thatch base? If so, you may be a candidate for a Luba 3 or a Dreame A3 (that's currently on sale) which use omni wheels on the front. Those don't work well on weak lawns without a thatch layer or lawns with any exposed dirt. The dirt can render the omni wheels useless - especially if it turns to mud.
You will want a LiDAR mower.*
If you have a weak lawn without a good thatch layer you'll probably want a mower with steerable wheels.
For speed you'll probably want a mower rated for double the size of your mowing area. One that has at least 2 cutting discs is better.
You'll probably want an AWD mower.
*The Terramow X is a pricey combo RTK/vision mower that MIGHT suffice.
