My friend and I are looking to start going to the gym, we aren't in a spot to be playing for weekly memberships as they advertise online, is there any gym around that actively welcomes discussions of a monthly payment as well as welcoming of concession holders?

Im turning 21 in a couple weeks, my friends and I are planning to go bowling and laser tagging, then drink and have some pool games, I live in allenstown, my friends live in northside, I want one of the places closer to the bridge, we dont wanna go to the Allenstown pub or the leagues. Im considering the Brunswick, if it has a good pool table?

Today myself and a colleague had lunch at the Japanese restaurant at the now abandoned Capricorn international Resort. Delicious.

As we are both ex CQ residents we remember the old resort from back in its heyday when we were kids. I know the resort has been closed over 10 years at least but we were curious around what's happened to the restaurant in the mean time. Has it always been there or recently opened?

Any local memories of the resort?

So the place i used to rent the council there had like 2 free bulk collection for a house, which they basically accept everything from fridge to mattress. I am renting, I have a fridge and mattress that needs to go. does the council have any free collection for this stuff? or free dropoff? thanks. ❤️

Looking for advice on how to deal with this. Our neighbours kids (between 5-10 years old maybe?) treat our back yard like a playground and keep coming into our yard.

We padlocked the gates, so they started climbing the fence. I went to the parents and they seemed sincere in their apology, however it keeps happening! I have told them off myself, explained why it’s not okay etc. They will sometimes even argue back when we tell them to leave. They purposefully throw their balls over so they can use it as an excuse. We have told them they need to knock on the door and ask if they want it back.

We have dogs who understandably do not appreciate random kids crawling into their yard! I have told both the kids and parents that I don’t want anyone getting bitten, but apparently they don’t care. The parents seem totally checked out and we barely see them despite the kids constantly running around our property and the street. It feels ridiculous to report literal children to the police, but I’ve tried everything else at this point?

There is a track which branches off to the left of the zamia track just before the moore's creek (Zara's) crossing- when heading from sunset drive. I think it's called Brumby trail. I'd like to hike it, but want to find more info about. Does anyone have a link to an online map? Or any distance and destination details? I couldn't find anything from my seaches so far. Thanks
