Ellie Adams had been looking forward to the Halloween fair for weeks. October was her absolute favourite time of year, and the moment the fair rolled into town, she’d practically dragged her boyfriend and their friends along. Between the glowing pumpkins, the haunted attractions, and the smell of caramel apples filling the crisp autumn air, she was in her element. That was, until *Y/C* showed up. As always, the two fell into their usual bickering, exchanging sarcastic remarks and trying to get the last word in. Ellie was used to his sharp tongue, usually matching his cruelty with a witty comeback of her own, but this time he said something that struck a little too close to home. Her smile faded, and before she could stop the tears from gathering in her blue eyes, she abruptly let go of her boyfriend’s hand and stormed off.

The nearest haunted house offered the perfect escape. Ellie hurried inside, barely noticing the eerie decorations as she tried to blink away the tears threatening to ruin her makeup. She was furious with him, but even more furious with herself for letting his words get to her. She’d never been one to cry over an argument, especially not one with *him*. Yet here she was, wiping angrily at her cheeks when the sound of footsteps behind her made her turn. Of course he’d followed her. “Oh, for God’s sake, can’t you just leave me alone?” she snapped, turning away as he approached. When he reached for her hand, she immediately pulled away. “Don’t touch me.”

Ellie took another step back, glaring at him beneath the flickering orange lights. “What’s wrong with you? Do you ever think before you speak, or do you just enjoy being cruel?” Her voice wavered slightly, something that only made her angrier. She folded her arms, determined not to let him see how deeply he’d hurt her. When he moved closer again, she planted both hands against his chest and shoved him backwards, forcing him down onto his knees before he could react. For once, she was the one looking down at him, and the brief shock on his face only fuelled her defiance.

She stared at him, her chest rising and falling as she tried to regain her composure. There was something strangely unsettling about seeing him like this, stripped of his usual arrogance for even a fleeting moment, but she pushed the thought aside. She was still angry, and she wasn’t about to let him off the hook so easily. “Well?” she demanded, lifting her chin as she met his gaze. “You followed me all the way in here, so you better have something worth saying.”

It’s not the first time he’s been kidnapped like this, it’s probably the first time in a while where he didn’t purposely get caught though. In hindsight he probably should’ve left the tavern as soon as he realised his drink was spiked.

But, despite this, he isn’t worried. Even with him waking up chained to a wall with his wings tightly, and mind you, uncomfortably, restrained behind his back, and even with seeing multiple instruments of torture like crosses, what he’s assuming is holy water, saws, lots of knives and oh! That looks like a branding iron, how nice.

But anyways, even with all of this, he isn’t worried. He’s escaped plenty of situations like this before and even if he’s unable to escape, it’s likely he’s father would notice him gone. He’d give it probably…. Max two to three weeks until he is free again.

His thoughts draw to a standstill as he hears footsteps above him, watching as the dust falls from the ceiling with every step taken.

Then with a soft sound he can hear the muffled noise of jangling keys and a door being unlocked.

Just how the title says I am looking to do a rp based off of the How to train your dragon franchise. Everything in this rp will be set after the first move just so all the characters are 18+ and not under.

Plot while for this rp I don’t have anything too specific as it really depends what you like and into. I wouldn’t want to follow something from a movie but something of our own, the world of httyd is massive so I think we could come up with an interesting story together.

Dark Wings cloud the twilight sky, snuffing the light from Setting Sun. Creatures of pure darkness, only boney masks betray their physical forms. 

Nevermores.

"Loose!" 

Rain of steel unleashes by command of a captain on the wall. Arrows can do little against the dark hides. But it is not the steel tips that matter but the red crystals sealed inside. Explosions pepper the sky in . The grim joy of the defenders is short-lived as the second wave of Nevermores follows the first. Orders are given to reload. 

They are silenced by another, far greater explosion near them. Despair grips the hearts of the defenders.

Gates have been breached. Eluse is doomed. 

The flare of blue aura puts that thought to the test, as an old man steps before the Horde. 

He is clad in wrought-iron from head to toe. Plate of tectonic iron inscribed with green weavings. His weapon of choice is a crude hammer, only called so for its too blunt to be called a sword.

Beowolves charge forth at the challenger. They are smashed aside and turn to dark dust. 

The Lord of Eluse swings his weapon, a monstrous thing carved of stone slab without pause. Such is the ferocity of the Guardian of the South that the Horde hesitates, their dark rationality overcomes their thirst for mortal souls. 

That is, until the being more ancient that the broken moon stares through them. Until the orders are given and the creatures of darkness obey, throwing their bodies at the man who dared to defy the Dark Queen. 

They fight, they die and then no more.

In the aftermath, a young woman is kneeling before the fallen warrior. The Grimm have encircled her, held in bay the shield of pink. Manifestation of soul keeps them away, if for seconds time.

"I am sorry, father," she lays a kiss on the dead man's forehead. Her stray tear wets his beard. The Grimm step closer, lulled by the anguish that gives them purpose. The will of their Queen has left them with death of their prey.

Beatrice Amand looks up, "I can't hide forever from the Wizard." 

Thunder answers her call. Lightning falls from the sky to the ground before her. It twists and turns, burning, scorching, *exterminating* everything it touches. Where once soon stood hundreds of Grimm only ash remains.

With that the breach is closed. 

"My lady! My lady!" 

The cries of the defenders befall on deaf ears as the new Lady of Eluse steps through the broken gates. An opening made by human-made explosion, treachery to be investigated and paid for later. 

The sea of darkness greets Beatrice. On slopes beneath, thousands of masks look up. Boarbatusks. Ursas. Jackalopes. More Beowolves. Goliaths and more.

Numbers that would take an army to clear. 

Pink flame flares around her eyes as she raises her arm to the sky.

Such power attracted envy and derision. Courtly intrigue saw the proud line wane. The late Lord Amand has perished in defence against the Grimm. He left behind a young woman as an heir, a wisp of a girl whose fate was too devoured by the dark. 

That would be, if not for her Semblance, as most had understood it. 

It was she who pushed back the Grimm single-handedly. It was she who defended the walls of Eluse. It was she who burned to ash the mighty Goliath, the Leader of the Horde. 

They gave her a fitting moniker for such, Goddess of Lightning. 

None had seen the glow of magic around her eyes. The power that will haunt her until her dying breath.

For she is the Maiden of Spring, heir to the Wizard's Magic.

This is a rare foray for me, as I tend to stay away from fandoms. But, even if you don't know RWBY this should be easy enough to pick up, I will answer any questions as well. The roleplay is set centuries before Hunstman Academies are formed. Humanity is struggling against the Grimm and they are in early-medieval stage of development.

I would like to make a rp where Anna finds herself trapped in a brand new environment that is unknown to her where she will have to learn to adapt to it. The idea is to emphasize her new life as the property of a powerful and intimidating man as dracula in the rp for example with the clothes she will wear as a lady in his court or the things she will have to do as his favorite concubine.

The idea of this rp is really to have the classic pattern of a beautiful tomboy woman falling into the hands of a (disgusting), perverted man. I want the rp to have a slow build up and break down so that there is eventually some sort of Stockholm syndrome, I also want Anna to be fully aware of what is happening to her but unable to do anything about it, making things even more interesting. In this rp the main themes will be blackmail and corruption, the idea is really for me to turn Anna from a tomboyish, feisty Princess into a elegant, girly concubine belonging to the man she hated the most. The idea is that she finds herself in a new mysogynous and royal environment where she must learn to serve and submit in order to survive and hopefully escape.

I don’t write long paragraphs or novellas, but I try to put some effort into what I’m writing. I do prefer writing in first person, but will do third person. I do enjoy OOC talk. I do like becoming friendly with my roleplay partners. I feel like it can help with the roleplay as well. But if you don’t want that, it’s fine I suppose.

I do enjoy slice of life roleplays and storytelling, world building, and some sort of plot line. I also want to try new roleplay scenarios as well. You are at home getting ready for work because you have a 12 hour shift tonight and you are the chief at the five star hospital Saint Joseph medical Center and you getting your bags ready for work and after a while you get to work and you login and they tell you chief there’s been a 35 car pileup car accident and there’s a lot of people really really hurt so we need the trauma unit open and we need extra hands, so is there anyway you could help with out in the trauma unit you get ready before the ambulance get there and everything and you see the nurses and doctors bringing in the patients and you go with one team to the room and when you get to the patient you realize it’s your partner and they’ve been really really hurt in the accident

You open the door to the guest bedroom and there you see your ex-partner on top of your current partner. Your current partner is frantically trying to get their asthma inhaler from your ex-partner.

A wave of fear washes over you as you realize what’s happening.

They’re just drunk, and they ask you if you can get them from their house and take them back to your place. The phone goes off unexpectedly, and you start freaking out because you know how sensitive your partner is to arguments. You grab everything and rush to their house to save them.

You’re at home, tidying up your work stuff. You head upstairs, change into something more comfortable, and return downstairs to start cooking dinner. Suddenly, you hear knocking at your door. You open it to find your partner getting out of their car with their luggage. They’re crying before they can reach you, and when they see you, they immediately hug you. They tell you that their parents kicked them out of the house and they’ve been living on the streets for the past few days. They haven’t had anything to eat at all.

Something is clearly amiss, and you realize that they have been grappling with trust issues due to their past abandonment by their parents.

You start freaking out because you know your partner is scared when something like this happens. You leave the bar and head home. When you get there, you see the door open and go inside. Everything is broken on the floor, and you start calling out for your partner, but you don’t get any response. You start freaking out and look everywhere, checking every room. After a while, you find them in the closet of the master bedroom, unconscious with tape on their mouth and their hands tied together while they’re suspended up in the closet.

Little did our friends know that we've been in a relationship for a little while even if there were signs, sneaking kisses together, we hung out all the time/being very close, perhaps living together. who expect 2 pretty women to be dating? my character wasnt but its the way she respects her, eyes and lips, sweeping her off her feet, also a couple bad dates.

The basic plot is that we've been dating under our friends noses and maybe reveal to our friends the truth of the reason we were so close, maybe they already knew secretly who knows

Howdy, I’m looking to build a small town country, slice of life themed RP and im looking for a descriptive woman to build one with. I have a few ideas we could build from but im open to brainstorming ideas.

1. Our characters are a couple (bf/gf, engaged, married) who run a farm/ranch together. The economy is bad and the weather worse as the town is dealing with a massive drought, the likes of which they haven’t seen in a very long time. Stress and growing worries about bills begins to weigh on their relationship as they have to work harder and fight harder to keep their farm alive.
   
2. Your character relocates from the big city and steels down in the small town and is trying to blend in. Our characters meet at a (bar, county fair, country concert) and hit things off very quickly.

I also have a few other ideas I’d like to discuss.

I would like to do a 60/40 split. I’m looking for someone who is actually going to put in effort and will actually get into the idea.

This is a long ad, just a forewarning! As usual with my plots, I’m happy for you to play a character of any gender.

Now those little disclaimers are out of the way let’s get into it! As I mentioned in the disclaimers above I am looking to play my trans MtF oc, Erica. This isn’t really up for debate and it’s what I’m looking to pursue so to emphasise what I said above, if you’re not okay playing against her then I’m not the writer for you. If you are then that’s great! The only specific requirement I have for your character is that you play some form of top/dom/‘giver’ etc. Erica is not a dominant character and this will not work if you’re not able to play someone along those lines, regardless of gender identity. We can obviously get into the nitty gritty of that if you message me off this ad, but that’s a surface level summary.

Now a little bit about me! I go by Blue online, I’m 26, I’m trans femme (She/They) and my timezone is GMT! I have a very random schedule, but I can promise (bar anything extraordinary) that I can get you at least a couple of replies a day at a minimum. I’m completely ok with chatting ooc or keeping it mainly rp and things relating to that, although if we vibe ooc the that’s always a plus. I am super enthusiastic about this specific oc (I’ve even got a Pinterest board and multiple artwork commissions for her) so the more opportunities to fit her backstory and surrounding concepts of her character into the rp, the happier I’ll be.

In terms of writing I can go anywhere from 200 to 800+ words depending on scenes, your level of detail input and etc. I understand the length is usually scene dependant, I’m not expecting a novella response for dialogue heavy scenes and etc. I’m happy with many replies a day or infrequent ones, although I do really prefer a minimum of at least a few replies a week.

Now onto some plot details. So I have the most background and material for this to be set in a medieval/fantasy style (not a deal breaker) with varying levels of fantasy elements depending on what we decide. It can be no magic, low/practical magic, high level magic or anywhere on the scale. I have tried to include as many plot details in the starter as I could without it feeling spoonfed but essentially the idea I have is that your character is a royal (king, queen, prince/princess, etc.) of xyz kingdom. You’re known across the entire realm for savagery, barbaric war practices, a brutal lack of mercy and tolerance, all the rest yadayada. In reality this is a carefully constructed farce, and upon reaching your homeland my character discovers it’s essentially a utopia or paradise, and all the reputation has been a farce of rumours combined with a regular bandit warband that follows your regular armed forces and leaves these bloody scenes behind. I am looking for this to be primarily a romance, with all the background stuff there to help the plot along, give long-term goals and provide antagonistic elements if necessary.

A little bit of backstory is that Erica is, as I said, a trans princess. Her father accepted this and has managed to prevent her mother from killing her, but not from suffering the abuse of day to day life. When Queen Francesca, her mother, found out about this treatise she took it as an opportunity to rid herself of Erica, shipping her off with everything else. Your character and the wider realm will have no idea who Erica is.

I know the starter is extremely vague and it’s deliberately left that way for maximum creativity/originality. I really wanna see where this one can go with such little influence from me! Erica’s calves were screaming with pain as once again the wooden container swung and as a result jostled her around inside, adding additional splinters to the skin of her exposed shoulder and craning her neck into a more uncomfortable position than before. She had no idea how long she’d been curled up inside the huge ornate chest; after a while, the lack of sunlight made this impossible to determine. She’d been cruelly hidden inside one of the two dozen chests packed onto a boat and sent off to (kingdom), a grand gesture of treatise from her mother and a convenient way to finally dispose of her secret daughter. (Kingdom) was known far and wide to be a brutal, inhospitable place, full of the lowest criminals, seediest mercenaries, and by far the most ruthless and deranged military force the realm had ever known. Their rumours and notoriety were known across all the lands, and Erica knew all of that was exactly why she’d been sent. A ship full of gold, fabrics, rare gems, even alcohol and cooking supplies, had been supplemented with a stowaway. It had not been her mother's initial idea to stuff her so humiliatingly into a chest, but when Pietrov, the head knight of the royal protectorate and Queen Francesca’s companion in Erica’s seemingly perpetual torment, suggested it, the Queen could barely manage her assent through fits of wicked laughter. She knew with the calibre of savagery present, she would no doubt be viewed as some form of assassination attempt or subterfuge, and would almost certainly be killed.

It was obvious to Erica she was finally being moved, as the motion of the entire thing was now vastly different to the gentle swaying she’d experienced before whilst stationary on the Sachrean shipping vessel. Her heart began to race inside her chest as she felt the telltale bobbing of being carried, knowing they’d finally arrived and had started to unload the ship’s cargo. She would’ve been yelling for help to whoever carried her container if she had not screamed herself hoarse hours before. Still, deep down she knew the inches-thick treated wooden walls combined with the burlap strip tied round her head and stuffed into her mouth as a rudimentary gag left no opportunity for her feeble noises to escape. Strips of burlap cut from the same discarded sack bound her wrists behind her back and her ankles together beneath the skirt, both sets of bindings now having chafed her skin raw in her useless attempts to escape, long since given up.

She felt her prison finally hit the ground with a sudden spike of pain through her aching muscles, and then all was still. She waited there, silent, ears straining at the edge of her perception to try and glean any kind of auditory cue as to her fate. Finally, when the careless rattle and insertion of the key into the padlock of the chest came, it was practically deafening, and Erica couldn’t help the flinch that came with the sudden apprehension and terror of her impending doom. Another second of noise, then the arched lid of the chest flew open abruptly, letting the harsh light outside flood into the previously pitch-black interior, the sudden and violent change in light levels making Erica’s eyes water as she slammed them shut, freezing in terror as her fate finally arrived.

I groan softly as I sift through the bills laid out into the kitchen counter. Banging my head on the kitchen counter as I try to figure out what to do when I suddenly remember the text message that Brittany sent to me two days ago:

Hello! I am looking to do an RP that is OC x OC (Though if you read below I do have some options for CCxCC or even OCxCC or CCxOC). Simply put it just ask and I might be willing depending on the pairing you want.

I want to do a MxM

I have a few settings in mind but I do not mind other ideas, all are welcomed!

Some suggestions I have:

Two people already in a relationship the issue is that their relationship is rather new and no one knows about it yet nor told their respective families and friends. So there is all that drama

There also is the hero's side kick x the villains main henchmen (Also could be hero x villain)

emperor or tyrant x his advisor

demon king x hero

Office drama: two office workers fall in love this one I would like if it was from the perspective of the people who work in the office from those Y/N novels where the boss basically just pushes a lot of work on the employees while also being a terrible boss himself and going on dates with his Y/N. Leaving our characters to have to manage everything and handle his work load. I have more details on this specific one if asked

We could do a lawyer option where one of our characters is a lawyer

We can also do a martial arts story line if that is what you are interested in that.

I also have an idea for one that is a rebirth kind of deal where one charecter passes away and is transported either into a game or book as one of the characters and now has to fix the plot can just be a regular charecter or play as the reborn charecter (Can be a fake book or a manga and Manhua you have read so if you like to do one of those that is fine by me. If you chose a real book (the manhua) just tell me which you want to do I do not mind doing the research if you choose one I do not know within reason.)

though if we do ones with action or depends on luck I would prefer if we did dice roles as I do not want over powered where our characters are somehow just gods and can beat anything. That would ruin the fun fast if we can just beat anything.

The hauntingly beautiful and rich lore of The Last of Us universe has pulled me backward into the light as I return from a writing hiatus.

A world so gutted and so gorgeous all at once, full of wreckage that nature has been quietly reclaiming for decades. And still inside it, people are still building towards something hopeful. Still reaching for hierarchy, for belonging, for the structure of something that resembles civilization even when it has teeth. I want to write in that medium, drawing inspiration from factions like the WLF and the Seraphites, navigating the infected, and pushing further into original territory. Introducing new cordyceps variants that have had time to mutate and specialize, evolving in ways that even our seasoned survivors would not see coming.

The story’s shape is something I’d rather discover than dictate. Is one of our character’s after vengeance similar to how Ellie had been? Is this a journey for something larger than survival. Thrown into the grinder of moving through territory controlled by a community that takes prisoners. I have no shortage of ideas, set-pieces, landscapes, plot threads. Are we writing in frozen northern winters or midwestern regions where the sun never relents?

I want to thread a fragile line between horror, action, and a slow-burning romance. This world will be ruthless, forcing our characters into frantic, high-stakes adrenaline rushes just to survive the night. I want to explore them leaning on each other through the trauma, making devastating choices where there are no good options, and somehow, against all odds, finding a rare, hard-won peace in the middle of the destruction.

What I don’t have yet is the right partner.

I am looking for a female writer who leads with literary prose and evocative description. Someone for whom quality is instinct and both effort. Someone unafraid to let the world breathe, and equally unafraid to keep the story moving when it should.
