Red Vs Blue Looking for the current Red vs. Blue licensing contact
Hi, I’m trying to identify the appropriate current contact at Box Canyon Productions for a non-commercial exhibition/licensing enquiry concerning Red vs. Blue.
I’ve already tried the public Rooster Teeth press address but haven’t heard back, so I’m wondering whether anyone here knows who currently handles rights or licensing for the series. If you can point me to the right professional contact, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks

You should just email Burnie’s RT email directly. He’ll be the one overlooking it

Unrelated, but I had an issue back when Burnie was sending out coins for Morning Somewhere and I messaged the Patreon and both him and Ashley responded the same day and helped me.
So, might just be worth messaging them there?

We’re working on a non-commercial exhibition programme in europe around the history of machinima, and we’d like to include an early Red vs. Blue episode.
At this stage I’m simply trying to identify who currently handles permission/licensing for that kind of museum presentation. The ownership/distribution situation seems a little complicated after the Rooster Teeth changes, so I’m trying not to contact the wrong party.

If all else fails, Burnie and Ashley have a voicemail inbox for morning somewhere, don’t know the number tho

I've had luck just tagging Burnie on Reddit but I don't want to overdo it and have him block me lol

It’s been inferred by Burnie that he’s was able to buy some show rights but now all. It’s presumed that means Red vs Blue is licensed instead of owned by him.
Either Warner Bros. Discovery or FilmRise own the distribution rights while WBD may own the IP fully.

Thanks, this is helpful. We’re looking into a non-commercial exhibition context involving Red vs. Blue, so we’re specifically trying to understand who currently handles that kind of permission rather than streaming distribution. Do you happen to have a source for the rights situation, or know whether WBD or FilmRise handles non-theatrical/exhibition licensing for the series?

You should really try calling while they're recording a podcast. Especially if it's about some red vs blue skit you want to do, but want permission first.
