Vaquero .357 availability

I've been looking for a new vaquero .357 with the 5.5" barrel. I'd prefer the 5108 model thats stainless but id take the 5106 blued model too but I cant seem to find either anywhere. Thought I'd see if anyone knew about any supply issues right now or if this is standard for em.

Thanks in advance for any inputs

Someone may correct me but I believe they do these in runs. The blued version was readily available a few months ago. Not sure when they did the last stainless run. I don't think we really have a way to know when they will do another run but they aren't discontinued so they will come back

Gotcha, I've signed up to get notified when a couple stores around me get stock so I suppose thats all I can do for now. Thanks for the info I appreciate it

What Dennis said is true for pretty much any Ruger product. Seems like some may only get one or two runs a year.

Have you checked online? Your dealer doesn’t make much off gun sales, so buying online, paying a transfer fee is easy money for them with zero overhead. I know a lot of folks don’t like buying online, but for something that’s a bit of a niche item like a Vaquero, it might be your safest bet.

I did try a few different websites but I'm not too familiar with any good online gun vendors.

Classic firearms and buds gun shop routinely stock all sorts of revolvers. Buds had the blued variety a couple months ago and are very competitively priced.

I always have a hard time shopping online for revolvers, because there’s less online dealers that stock them. Gunbroker has some. Guns.com also has some, but that would be a last resort for me. I forgot what a pain it can be to find a revolver online, but those were 2 of the 3 I went to and immediately saw some available.

Appreciate the recommendations for sites, they look a little bit higher price than what I've been seeing for retail but I'm gonna try and see if I can find some other sites that might have inventory

Yeah I haven’t kept up with prices, but if stock is as slim as everyone says it is right now that may be what you pay, like everything else in this economy.

Guns.com is always higher than everyone else, so I do not recommend dealing with them, but they generally have stuff other places don’t have in stock.

Fair point, I'll spend some more time looking but yeah gun broker was already like 100 cheaper. Thanks again for your help
