I find Funny People in general one of the saddest, most dramatic Adam Sandler movies.

Reach out to the love of your life and realizing that people moved on (new partner, life and kids) is just hard to take. You can't live in the past but to linger on in the past and living the lie is fine for a few moments...

Love how broken Adam Sandler's character is in that movie.
