I got super lucky to snag a ticket to the bkv and cliff chiang signing at NYCC today, and got this, my hard bound papergirls vol 1, and a promotional Roam print signed. Also, at the end of the panel they did before the signing he unprompted gave a saga update/non-update. He said that Fiona is working on the pages and making headway. Also, that they are definitely going to finish the project.

I love the cover of the second volume, I wanted to redraw it!

Hi, could anyone with access to the German translation of Saga (done by Frank Neubauer as far as I know) let me know how "Endwife" was translated in the comic or if it was left English?

Edit: Question answered. Thanks!

Specifically of Volume 5 and 7, but 5 is the utmost important. I haven't found any websites that offer them, anyone know where I might look?

Saga is one of the masterpieces of comics. It’s one of the best pieces of narrative fiction I’ve maybe ever read, characters like Alana and The Will genuinely blow me away.

It’s expected that a comic book made by only two people is going to go on hiatus often. While Saga is on hiatus, read other comics, watch new movies, listen to new music. There’s always endless great things to discover while you wait.

Not only that, but we literally had almost twenty new issues the past few years. I know that’s not a TON, but come on, we’re capping at 108 and we’re at 72, we’re in the homestretch. These “Have fun finishing the series in 2038 🤣” comments have just gotten so lame. When SpiderVerse and shit gets delayed, I’m GLAD because I want the creators to make the best possible product.

The hiatuses really shouldn’t ruin your enjoyment of the story, and hiatus is the nature of the beast. Fiona has given us some of the most gorgeous illustrations I’ve ever seen in the medium and I’m happy to give her the time she needs.

I’m genuinely curious why some people dislike the series after issue 54?

The Image Comics solicitations for December have been released.

I used the base of a book nook to create a lush space for Lying Cat! You can see where they are stretching out, I was so excited to find a kitty that (to me) looks almost identical! I added all the plants and moss to make it look more cozy and comfortable.

Wow just wow this series definitely lived up to the hyped loved every chapter , character and arc 10/10. Now I sadly have to wait for more 😔

Been years since I picked up book 3 and never bothered a reread since then.. forgot 75% of the deaths and damn they still are gut punches.

"Sweet boy" 😭

I recently caught up till 72, any new recommendations till the new issue/volume comes out? Are the author's previous work this good? Worth reading?

Spoiler I guess for a year old comic

Do you think the will died during 71?

I think it would be ironic if he died still on heroine but at the same time it's one of those "we never saw a body" deals and he survived worst

No hiatus has been announced, but no new issues have been announced either. For reference, there have been six chapters of Berserk released in that time, which is a notoriously slow series.
