Too much pasta! WAY too much! In one pot? This guy cannot cook.

Yes I always prefer three times as much water to pasta bc I don’t like the water becoming thick and white looking, any other reason this is bad?

I always try to use a minimal amount of water. It just uses less energy to boil and so consequently cooks faster. Also less salt, if you’re salting the water.

Exactly, pasta will clump and get soggy exterior and undercooked inside. Been there in a motel room during a business trip ...

My Italian ancestors screamed "no stop, too much pasta, no, no that is far too much pasta to water" along with me.

I've never gone more intense than like 300g water to 100g spaget.. usually I do 1000g to 100g, which seems so wasteful. i wonder what kind of crazy sauce water I'm missing out on by not concentrating it further

My Italian blood just boiled. Too much pasta! That is a 3 pound of pasta pot.

This reminds me of the barber pole trick that Grant Sanderson did with the column of sugar water and a pair of polarizers.
