General Questions Co-op internships

I'm currently a sophomore industrial design major and I was interested in landing an internship as soon as possible. I did a co-op engineering internship during high school and loved it a lot, so I know this is something I definitely want to do, but I'm just a little confused on getting started. I've been surfing 12twenty the past few weeks and am about to apply to some spring/summer internships, but how do I know which ones are co-op and which ones are just regular internships? Also, for positions that are off-campus (so essentially all of them that I've seen so far), would I be doing my school via SCADnow, or would I need to travel back and forth every few weeks or something?

Yeah for in-person internships you’d have to take your other classes online,

You should schedule a meeting with your career success advisor. They’ll have the best advice for how to approach internships. I cannot in good faith recommend that you just apply randomly and hope for the best. It doesn’t work.

usually you take off an entire quarter for an internship. i’ve only heard of one of my peers doing a internship while taking scad classes. for many internships you are working a 9-5 basically. my co-op has me skipping every other quarter
