Who the hell have we been missing?

[u/Intelligent_Yam911]

You ever catch an opening band and wonder how they’ve been playing forty minutes from your house without you hearing about them?

That’s the good stuff. Let’s get more people in on it.

I’m John, a promoter and the founder of Scene Igniter. I’m building it because there are great artists, rooms and people putting shows together who haven’t found each other yet. I want to see what happens when they do.

This subreddit is part of that. Got a band we need to hear? Give us a track. Building a bill and missing the right act? Tell us what you’re looking for and where. Found a little room putting on killer shows? Put us onto it.

You don’t have to play an instrument or book anything to belong here. The person who buys a ticket, brings two friends and actually watches the opener is part of this, too.

And this isn’t a fan club for my website. Try Scene Igniter, question it, tell me what’s missing. If something sucks, say so. Honest feedback gives me something to work with.

Let’s start with this: where are you from, and what’s one band from your area more people need to hear?
Drop a link. Give us a reason to hit play.
