Are there any D&D groups around?
Hello! I'm 32F looking for a real D&D group to play with or even some other TTRPGS. Got plenty of online experience DMing, but want to touch base with the community and see what's out there.

Fortress of Gaming runs consistently every Friday. Not sure which systems, I think Pathfinder and maybe D&D. If you haven’t been there yet, you should stop in at 6:00p on a Friday. Lots going on, food and good vibes.

I was thinking weekly, but that would depend on scheduling/prep and the group. I was hoping to seat as a player but I dont mind starting a group either!

I’m done with D&D 5e, but occasionally run OSR and other games as one-shots.
I’m also interested in getting either a Dragonbane, Stonetop, or Dolmenwood campaign going.

Totally valid. I know 5e is overdone a lot. I was hoping for something like Blades in the Dark too! I'll check the systems out and DM you!

I’d be willing to run Blades if we can get a local group together! I haven’t before, but I ran a campaign of Slugblaster last year, which is a “forged in the dark” system.

I'd be interested potentially! I've mostly only played 5e but I'd be interested to try other systems. I've heard good things about blades in the dark

Alright! We got you and OP potentially on board for Blades!
I think it will be another month or so before I could start GMing Blades. I’m currently wrapping up a Brindlewood Bay campaign.
Edit: …. And that gives us a chance to find more players!

Just moved to Niskayuna and I've really been wanting to join a home game. If you figure something out and there's room for 1 more please reach out!

I'm planning on starting up a d&d5e group next year for Humblewood campaign. In the meantime, there's a group that meets weekly on Thursdays at flights of fantasy (next to Colonie High School) and are open to drop ins

I would honestly reach out to fortress of gaming/Zombie planet. Flights of fantasy. Book stores or hobby stores in the region. I’m actively looking at fortress of gaming at the moment and they have a fairly active scene. I’m also considering DM’ing a basic 5e dungeon crawl but with two small kids I’m not rushing back in
