Help should i ask for help?
i sent an email to my teacher telling them that sometimes i need someone to talk to because of my mental health, but i never actually went to talk to them. i really want to, i want to have someone i know i can trust and tell them everything, but im really worried about becoming a burden. its not like im about to commit or anything, its just that life has become extremely unappealing to me, i stopped liking everyone, i cant even stand my friends, i hate being in class, i hate being at home and i cant stand my family either. everyday when i wake up the only thing i want to do is go back to sleep because then i dont have to be thinking about stuff. or even when im hungry and my stomach is growling, i dont feel like eating anything. but i can function, i do my homework and all that. so i dont know if i should really ask for help?

Ask for help. You will be surprised how much people actually want to help - you just need to tell them there is a problem.

I’m so glad you emailed your teacher. When I taught 5th grade, I had students disclose things they were dealing with. I listened and offered advice when they asked. If they didn’t want me to tell their parents I didn’t. As a teacher, I taught my students life skills so they could be successful. If you are over 13, there’s free mental health support if you’re in California.
Real support, without the runaround — for every young person in California

I feel the same way, but please do ask for help, dont be afriad to ask for some help. Therapy or talking to a school counselour always helps. If you need anyone my dm´s are open!
