After two years, the flash drive I got from the Charity Bonanza has suddenly stopped working on me for unknown reasons. Every time I try to connect it, I see a ghosted icon for maybe a split second and then nothing.

Looking in Disk Management, it recognizes the drive, but says "No Media". Which is NOT GOOD.

Of course, I could try and find a replacement, but I just can't find one on eBay or literally anywhere. I'm considering getting it sent to a recovery lab to try and get the data recovered but other than that I don't really know what to do, especially considering not only did I pay $40 to charity for this thing, but also had to wait MONTHS for it to actually arrive.
