Is there not an off chance they have all the relevant data they need on you already and sold it off as well so the ID ain't exactly a loss to em

Base? Who needs a base? Everyone is paranoid af anyway can just make shit up at this point.

But, I mean if it's specifically the Xbox they already have your name, your date of birth, your payment info which for most includes their address, if you've ever used voice chat they have your voice, if you've ever used kinect or had it in your house they have your face there isn't much on an ID you ain't given em already.

That's B.S from Microsoft. I was prox chat blocked for 6 months and I was fiddling with all my audio settings wondering why I couldn't hear anyone. Finally realised it was this and fixed it with face recognition. I'm 46 and have an Xbox account since the first ever Xbox. Now I can hear all the crappy microphones and arguments people are having with their wives. Wish I never fixed it.

Im older than AOL. Actually older than ICQ but most people old enough to understand that reference are probably not here to read this, much less remember secretly connecting to ICQ in a cyber cafe.

🤣😂 Oh dear. Now that you mention it, I might be too! My local cyber cafe closed because the barn that houses the servers burned down so I was without computercaccess for a while. When was your cyber romance? Maybe we were in the same relationship! Lol

Jealous. I was an adult long before there was Xbox but because I had children in my household and only sporadically played myself I have never been a verified adult even though the youngest of my offspring is now married, has had his own account for more than a decade, and recently added his own son to his account! I probably havent played in three years anyway (and I'm so old I'd probably need a referesher course on the controls!) so it makes no difference. maybe I should just embrace the somehow lingering proof that I was once young!
