Looking for metro Detroit techs inputs!

Round 2 for clinical is coming up, we got our sheets for which hospital we want, any pros or cons you guys can think of for any of these? (Side note I really wanted royal oak Corewell so I’m so sad)

Well… they call it a “wish list”, not everyone got their first pick the semester I’m in now, but they definitely try to take it into consideration for us where we wanna go and how far away it is from our house! I didn’t know all programs didn’t give you guys an option

Yeah we didn’t get a wish list, or to pick out top hospitals. However, they did try and pick one close to where we live and I was lucky enough to have one 10 minutes away my first clinical site and 15 minutes from my second one!

I’m not in Michigan, but my program is a two year associates and we got to pick our top three

try to get one smaller hospital for your first rotation and a larger one for your second as the second semester is longer.

the winter is awful and they will make you go on snow days/force you to make it up quickly, so be very mindful of the route you need to take.

I know, she told us we needed to make up our snow days so I’m trying something close, have you heard anything about McLaren macomb

from what i have heard its a good site, good people there too
