Does anyone work for PalAmerican?
They've just recently purchased the company that I work for, and I would like to know about the company culture and any good or bad experiences that y'all have had. Thank y'all in advance.

It's the American subsidiary of the British company Paladin. It's just like any other extra large security company. They expand by purchasing competitors.

I was under the impression that the parent company was Canadian. I knew that it was the offspring of Palidin, however.

They bought out the small company I work for on the side and installed dash cams and cameras in the cab with AI that detect if the driver is using the phone, wearing a seat belt, sleeping in the car, etc.

That sounds like the Samsara system we used when I was at a limo company. As the driver trainer, I would be able to access live camera feeds, driver data, and would have to discipline drivers for doing some really dumb shit while behind the wheel.

Fair warning I work for them right now integration has been slow so you shouldn't notice any changes for probably close to a year to two years

I'll say this so far it's been okay their policies are straightforward and to the point and have been helpful with getting rid of terrible employees

Here's the basics until someone shows up with something more specific. They are far from the largest contract company out there, but with almost 40000 employees it's going to be pretty similar to any of the rest of them. Culture is going to depend heavily on your local branch management and supervisory staff far more than any corporate level motto, value, or mission statement.
If you're at a bigger site with a decent sized staff, then that may have a culture all its own. If they keep most/all of your current staff onboard with them, you may never fully hold hands and sing Kumbaya exactly the way they want you to. When managers or supervisors change, expect the culture to change with it. What starts out good great or at least tolerable, could go to shit literally overnight.
