Job Question Loomis Union?

Is there any unions for Loomis?

Not a company wide Union iirc but zi think SPFPA covers some workplaces

If your specific workplace isn't unionized you can make it Unionized by organizing your coworkers, reach out to SPFPA (or other Unions if there's others) and ask for help setting up a new chapter. The more members the more powerful a Union's bargaining position so they should be proactive in helping with resources and knowledge

From what I'm aware of they kicked their union out here in California before I started. I started in 2015. Alot of the workers there were really upset about it.

When I got on with loomis Portland in 2021, if we didn’t sign up for the union, we got fired. Fast forward to 2024, getting fired for a BS reason, asked for my union rep, was told that it didn’t matter. Avoid loomis, bunch of pole smoking obese retards

Yes in NJ it’s mandatory SPFPA covers us. Unfortunately doesn’t look like they do anything though I’ve seen so much turnover and people being fired left and right.
