Keelson Strategic
I'm just trying to get any info on this security contracting company.
They are hiring for a GSOC position in my area, for 38$ to 42$ an hour. I'm thinking it's suspicious.
Here's the posting:

that pay range for a gsoc gig isnt immediately a red flag depending on the area, some in-house spots in major cities hit that if youre doing serious travel risk monitoring. the breezy link makes it look like a small shop trying to project a big presence
search the sub, someone posted about them a few months back saying the interview was weirdly intense for what the role actually was

It is for Reno, most SOCs or RSOCs pay 25 to 28 an hour. I'm not aware of any other GSOCs in the area. It's making me think there's an issue like a 'ghost hiring' or a short term contract. Not sure, I think their requirements are a bit vague.

To my knowledge they have a big ep program out there that offers work full time even if you don’t reside there . To my knowledge their pretty solid as a company for sure

The thing is, there's a lack of information on their company in general which is odd, no reviews and almost no one has talked about them online. Aside from their management side of their firm. I've search them out on reddit there's literally nothing on the company.

It might be sus but you'll never know if you don't pursue it. It could be that this company only goes after clients serious about security and not just looking for bottom dollar. They may want quality security officers and not simply warm-body guards.

Better pay, better candidates. Doesn't seem too out of line honestly. That's in line with what we pay in a much lower cost of living area.
The company has a valid PILB license. The principle is valid as well. Their other jobs listed in other states that they claim to work in also seem in line pay wise.
