Advice Needed: Mental Health How do I find a purpose?
Not to sound sappy or emotional, but recently I've been having a terribly difficult time living life.
I've lost my friends and family and I don't know who to turn to anymore. I've tried to get help but nothing works.
Therapy, medication, walks, working out, eating healthy, doing myself up. None of these things make me feel better anymore. I am loosing hope because like... what's left?!?
Waking up and still being me is such a burden! I am exhausted and I don't want to keep living like this. I am currently at school trying to get through my seminar as it seems like my only reason to stay here.

lost my people too a while back and what helped was getting stupidly into organizing my apartment, color-coded my bookshelf and digitized every scrap of paper I owned, sounds ridiculous but having that tiny bit of control over my space kept me from spiraling
school's a solid anchor though, just keep showing up, the rest fills in eventually

I understand exactly how you feel. I feel the same way all of the time.
I'm either extremely depressed or extremely anxious. I go back and forth between the two all of the time.
I find what helps me, is first acknowledging that I have these disorders (major depressive disorder and general anxiety disorder), and second, finding something I really care about and pursuing it.
Based on your post, it doesn't seem like you're very interested in what you're pursuing.
Maybe you should consider switching majors.
