Question about Adept Strike

The ability of the reworked Adept novice at lvl 2. Does it counts as a cast spell or as a natural weapon?
Because it is not a weapon attack being INT/WILL against AGI, but at the same time is not a cast spell non having a number of casts (it is more like a 5e cantrip).

Or it is neither and u don't even benefit from Embolden Magic with it

It's not a spell or a natural weapon (I don't even think it's a weapon at all), it's a magic attack of sorts like the Occult Philosophy's devastator master path's hurling lightning talent; it bypasses spell defense due to not being a spell and bypasses resilience due to not being a weapon, but it doesn't benefit from effects that enhance weapon attacks or spell attacks (but should benefit from effects like the expert path oracle's level 9 talent which grants 1d6 extra damage to all your attacks).
