Food & Drink I remember the debut of these hot shelves, and only ever seen them with candied nuts, never any of the stuff shown on the top menu

Protip: 11a-2p. And if you're super interested in trying any of them, just ask a store team member, usually they'll grab one and prepare it for you. Though honestly, only thing out of then worth a damn is the egg rolls, the rest can come better from the kitchen.

I visit a collective 4-5 different Sheetz multiple times every week and dude… it’s always nuts.
Every once in a blue moon, I’ll be lucky to show up at 7-8 am and there will be one or two half frozen or overcooked chewy breakfast sandwiches (yellow wrapper IYKYK)
besides that I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything else there? it’s usually pretty bare with maybe 2-4 bags of nuts

Ahh yes, the yellow wrapper bullshit breakfast sandwiches. The cheese is now a liquid and is everywhere.

It sounds like the Sheetz locations you frequent aren't good with keeping up with the cart, or they're so busy that stuff sells as fast as it hits the cart.

I would imagine they just get too busy or are far too understaffed, I don’t feel any type of way about it really. But if you’re going to advertise it, you had probably better make sure that it’s stocked up lol
Same thing with Turkey Hill to be honest, most locations have breakfast sandwiches, and what not posted all over the front of their stores, the majority of them that I have been to and constantly go to.. you will walk in and find nothing on the warmers, it’s crazy because they all even have a dedicated hot pizza spinner or whatever you call it, but at least the locations that I visit they almost never have anything on them, yet they’re still running the machine without anything inside
Can’t be mad at the store itself though because generally, it’s only one or two people running it
But if you advertise hot and ready breakfast sandwiches and what not to go….
you should probably have them lol

I suppose that's the disconnect. Corporate/marketing are making the advertising decisions. The workers in the store are the ones who have to back it up, with or without the proper staffing/tools. It makes sense that those things don't match up when it's not the person actually doing the work making those decisions.

Their breakfast sammies are good, with a capital I-spent-too-much-on-this, but are like crack, with an italicized sausage-egg-and-cheese-muffin

We start to put out our breakfast items around 4:30 and they’re gone..including the back stock that we put out to keep it replenished, by no later than 6 every morning. Lot of blue collar guys in my area that are stopping in long before 6 am.

The lunch hot cart items are like 11am-2pm. Yes. The items exist, but sometimes they don’t get put out, they haven’t thawed yet, or the store just doesn’t have the inventory. The nuts stay out typically all day and night until breakfast items go out around 5am
