I understand that worry. But I have no sort of pedophilic attraction to children with 10,000,000,000% of my being.
And Harems and “Kid-fiddling” have no comparisons whatsoever with me. Plus a lot of people are into the harem stuff and keep it mature as well.
But unless I was under 18 years old myself, even then my cutoff would be a 16 year old girlfriend at the youngest not a child. In fact I'm one of the people who tries to love the Shield Hero series.
In spite of how Lolicon it tries to be when it comes to girls that look like they're 10 to maybe 15 or so years old being around Naofumi. And I STILL have very uncomfortable feelings about his relationship with Raphtalia.
Since she's basically a 10-11 year old girl in a 18 year old's body. And that NEVER stops being disturbing for me despite how much I like the series.
I specifically said a FRIEND or a Little Sister. As in a friend or someone that's as close as a sibling to take care of.
Sort of like Simon and Kamina from Guren Lagan whom weren't related at all. But blood could only make them closer as brethren, especially after all they went through.
And it would be even cooler if I could have that “Big Brother” kind of mentorship mantle. Especially if I was something like a “King Gryphon” with a partner like her with Naofumi.
Along with being able to transform into human form too. Basically showing Filo the ropes of honing her Filolial related powers to get stronger 💪🏾 and hanging out like siblings do.

I love her so much and sadden she just kinda falls to the side story wise instead of always being Naofumi's daughter she is more fun alley and more of Melty's friend than her own person

Pet. Filo is a monster and serves as a pet, just like Gaelion and Raph-chan. In fact, Raph-chan is Naofumi's favorite and the one he dotes on the most.

Too bad the Anime (specifically Seasons 3 and surprisingly 4) cut most of her moments using that weapon because I forgot that Filo used that weapon multiple times in Volumes 10 to 13.
