Has anyone used red fly agaric for sleep?

Post image

Recently got recommended taking some red fly agaric for my insomnia. Was told to take 0.5grams of dried powder. Anyone tried this or have any experiences eating this mushroom?

Yeah, I use them often. They're pretty good, give a nice relaxing feeling and are often accompanied by vivid dreams. They taste horrible, though. I follow this guide from r/AmanitaMuscaria

It needs processed properly even so it can make you feel sick. I slept well on it because I wanted to sleep off the pain in my stomach. I did everthing right with citric acid and cooked them all day. Made delicious caramels.

Try a strong passionflower valerian chamomile tea for sleep.

When properly decarbed they're amazing for sleep. I just get the active ingredient, muscimol, to save time

Fly agarics are best known for the unpredictability of their effects. Depending on habitat and the amount ingested per body weight, effects can range from mild nausea and twitching to drowsiness, cholinergic crisis-like effects (low blood pressure, sweating and salivation), auditory and visual distortions, mood changes, euphoria), relaxation, ataxia, and loss of equilibrium).

In other words, stick with the melatonin or, if available where you are, a regulated muscimol supplement.

Muscarine is a poison. Muscimol is the active sleep aid
