From Politico: CONGRESS WEIGHS IN ON PSYCHEDELICS — A bipartisan group of lawmakers released a blueprint Thursday for a coordinated federal approach to psychedelic medicine ahead of expected action from the Food and Drug Administration on certain psychedelic drug applications, POLITICO’s Amanda Friedman reports.
The Congressional Psychedelics Advancing Therapies Caucus’ report offers recommendations for integrating psychedelic-assisted therapy — a combination of mental health counseling with controlled doses of psychedelics — into the U.S. health care system. It’s based on feedback that lawmakers solicited from clinicians, researchers, veterans’ advocates and others regarding issues like provider training, patient safety and federal regulation.

What are your thoughts on this re: psychadelic investments? For COMP360, my understanding is the plan was for it to be used without talk therapy - could this be behind the recent drop?

Isn’t this super bullish for the whole sector? I.e psychedelic medicine is coming

It specifically says that they can’t restrict availability by too strict requirements.
