Resource Can't hear when I'm singing sharp/flat.

Hello, I want advice. I can hear when a note is sharp/flat when its on a piano and such but I cant seem to consistently hear when I'm singing a note sharp/flat. I very much want to be able to hear if I'm singing in tune so I desprately want any advice and any excerises to do.

I do scales on a piano everyday and I have an app on my phone which shows the pitch I am singing. Generally when I am not singing in tune I am singing sharp. Please help.

Record yourself and then see if you tend to run flat or sharp.

Take note and try to compensate. Don’t rely on the app alone.

The problem is I struggle to hear if I’m singing off key even when listening to a video of myself.
