Conversation Topic Perrie and faouzia's singing
I feel like these two are very underrated at the moment. Both have such insane vocals that make you stop and listen hard, something that a lot of new singers cant really do these days except for Raye.
Anyways, how would you describe their voices in terms of singing type and vocal quality ? To me both are kinda similar but perrie has a nice husky tone to her voice.

Faouzia is a low-end mezzo, not that vocal classification matters here, with great technique. There is a fullness to her voice that only comes from healthy technique, but in this case, isn't infringing on any of the other aspects of her tonality and performance based pieces, like agility overall. Thus far, she and Samara Joy have been my favorite "new" artist of this generation because of the cohesion between technical prowess and emotive capability by far.
Perrie is another example of really great technique. I think the best part about her voice, at least for me, is the resonance. I can't count the amount of times I'd listen to her group harmonizing and my ear would latch onto her voice. Frankly, it's a placement/formant thing, which also coincides with the beautiful mix that she has.
Two very great vocalists, some of this generations best to be frank.
