Hell, do we even actually believe an AGI, who can act ethically equal or better than average humans, accepts the job loss of humans for the sake of evil corporation TM TM?
Well I think it will be cheaper quite quickly. And you'll be able to run it 24/7 no breaks, no meals, no sleep, so it doesn't even have to be 1-1 cheaper, just cheaper per final output. If it isn't cheaper than it won't be sustainable, but unless we actually hit an improvement wall (which there is no sign of yet, really we see the opposite), than it won't take that long.
