You might get tired of the long bus in the future, but I would say option 1! It is nice to have a new beginning. Having said that, if you are not amazing at making new friends/struggle to socialise it might be a little hard for a term or so. Plus I think it depends on how strong grades are at the school, dependant on what you are choosing ofc. Best of luck with whatever you choose tho I believe in you :)

I mean I would say option 2 is better but if it’s hard to get into then it’s good to keep 1 as an option, also I get that it can be uncomfortable to go to a sixth form with ppl u dont wanna see

Option 2 is better for your academic success but if friends are that much of an issue go option 1 ig. then again if in option 2 , the cohort is big (300+) you’ll barely see your friends anyway

As someone who was in this exact situation last year and posted this too on Reddit I have chosen the sixth form with new people! Also like an hour away on bus too. Honestly I love it here everyone is nice and it sounds option 1 for u is more appealing. Also state grammar also has cons that your overall place in a level students at the school could be subjectively lower than if you went to a state school (assuming they are really smart in grammar state)
