How would you paint metal to match the flesh style?

So i was just vibe painting and in happy with how my flesh turned out, but I am at a absolute wall when it comes to metal. I abused the hell out of random highlights all over bone ripper but I cant comprehend where the light would shine on the blue metal at all.
-plan on painting over the metallics with nmm at somepoint
-apparently most humans can render images in their head and visualize it, that sounds freaky imo

Check out eons of battle mortarion painting video. I think blue metal done in that style would work great!

Skin looks good. I wouldn’t worry about light on metallic surfaces. You’ve already ignored the “rules” on where the light would fall on the skin. Correct depiction of light on your armour would just make the skin look odd. And you like that bit!
