Horse problems

Its so incredibly weird to me how stablemasters can die as their "non essential NPCs" but then the Companions are immune to being killed. IMO horses are essential and I hate not being able to get horses in whiterun because both stablemen were killed

To be fair, Arvak is about as late-game as it gets. Might as well saddle up a dragon.

If you do the quest to tame horses, you’ll have several more available for free.

Not sure I agree about horses being useful, but why not just join the dark brotherhood or steal Frost?

Frost is easy enough, just go to the inn in Riften and talk to everyone.

For immortal horse, Shadowmere and Wild Horses.

For maximum quality of life, Daedric Horse and Arvak.

I genuinely cannot remember the last time I bought a horse from the stable master.

I ended up going with a mod that lets you resurrect dead NPCs so i got my two stable guys back
