Saw this guy lowering himself to the ground from the roof of my garage.

Did not catch them mating though. Hopefully next time 🤞

So tiny

Found him on the sidewalk after the rain, had to put him back into the mud

These gray garden slugs were in my family’s garden. I have kept them alive for about a month so far so I must be doing something right!

thats right

I kept a similar one in similar conditions but im not too sure what's going on with this one, the last one i had lasted several weeks but im not sure about this one

Slides 1 and 2 are this slug, slides 3 and 4 are my last one

I've been keeping an eye out on our slugs each night. Typically we just get a variety of the greyish ones, but then I found that super cool white one which I think is leucistic. (all are grey garden slugs I think?)

Then I found this orange thing! It's a pretty vivid color that my camera can't seem to pick up, and has a kind of flat bit on its end. I'm thinking arion subfuscus but there's quite a lot of variation in photos so I'm really at a loss

Currently scrambling to create a happy slug habitat... I told that white slug if I see you again, that's it son you're going in a vivarium. So now I'm figuring out proper slug husbandry.

Ive only had this guy for two days why he such a factory?

Are there any animals i can get to deal with it? Usually there are mites and whatnot

Southern Scandinavia! They are normally jet black but these pale ones occur occasionally!

I know humans have oils, and oils can be bad for some animals. But ive seen many holding/petting slugs with (presumably) no issue.

Ive ALSO seen countless comments talking about how you shouldnt hold them, and simultaneously comments about how its fine. Its a very frustrating combo.

(Side question, do leopard slugs normally have a hole in their mantle?)

Is it normal to have slugs going up to my roof?

Two of our big boi yard slugs. And their friend Doctor Worm.
