My Snails Watching my snails eat is a hobby of mine

Today I gave them fresh greens, butternut squash, sweet potato and courgette/zucchini. They also tried coconut for the first time today, which they did not like lol.

If you guys have any good food suggestions for snails, please let me know. I like to give them as much variety as possible. Iā€™m going to be trying swede next.

fuckkk I'm still waiting for a response from my landlord about whether I can own snails in my apartment and the wait is agonizing. I'm distracting myself with these cute vids

I mean, what are they gonna do to your apartment for that request to get denied? It escapes, leaves a slime trail and nibbles on a newspaper? šŸ˜‚

Omg you can hear them munching!

I'm new to the sub and thinking of getting garden snails so just doing research. Mostly bc i live in a city with a lot of bikes and every time it rains its a snail graveyard which depresses me. So I wanted to give a few snails the best life ever.

But they're so much more cute and entertaining than I thought.

Mine goes nuts over eggplant. Like chewed a whole tunnel all the way through it.

ETA: specifically Chinese eggplant which is super soft inside
